If you were familiar with God's word in the Bible you would know the answer to that. If you're not familiar with God's word in the Bible I would hope you would compare whatever I might say about who God helps with what the Bible says. And what I've said is that God is under no obligation to help those who do not obey Him and, ONCE AGAIN, if you were familiar with the Bible NONE of us 'deserve' God's help as we all have sinned but yes, God does smile upon His adopted children and as a good Father provides for us.

I agree.:)

So no true believers in the god of the bible ever die painful horrible deaths because their god is always there to look after them, or is that not true because they have all sinned?
Do you attribute all the good things to your god and all the bad things to a god/angel or whatever?
Hebrews 11:35b ... and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:
36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:
37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;
38 ( Of whom the world was not worthy: ) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.
39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:
40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

How will you enjoy heaven knowing that good people are in hell?

Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

So you'll be quite happy knowing that there are people in hell while you are in heaven. It won't bother your conscience at all.

If in doubt answer with a bible verse, that always shuts them up.
John 11;35 Jesus wept.
My favorite is:

1 Chronicles 26:18 At Parbar westward, four at the causeway, and two at Parbar.

Although, if you really want to remove a monkey wrench from the pile and stir the pot, throw this at them:

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

This is an easy one to understand.
Then why don't educatees act like they do?

Saying God created the universe, but then wondering what happened to the Flood waters, is like saying I understand GM built my car, but wondering why it's not still at the plant.

Because you conflate understanding with acceptance? Also because even if you accept that God created the universe it does not mean there was a literal flood.

Yea, but.. then you run into, "Well, if THIS verse is allegorical and THIS verse is literal, how does one discern which verses are to be taken literally and which ones are not?"

So you have to have a lobotomy before you can enter heaven to ensure you forget all the objections that anybody with a normally functioning mind would have to the way the management are organising things? Nice.

Interesting that this is the only way to get round the problem of people being distraught at the thought of friends and relatives suffering in hell, which would clearly take the gloss off any attractions heaven has to offer.
