Reuters is reporting that the 'transcript' of Trump's call is almost certainly not taken from a recording:

In fact, presidential phone calls are usually not recorded. Instead, people 'listen in' and take notes. The Transcript is reconstructed from notes.
According to the article:
"Evelyn Farkas, a former deputy assistant secretary of defense during the Obama presidency, said not only would any so-called transcript be based on notes, but it would also likely be incomplete because the note-takers usually do not include issues that could be controversial if they became public."
As usual, American citizens get scammed again by their government.
