Why does this keep happening

A few days ago my mom gave my dad a FINAL chance. I had to agree that if he messed it up that I wasn't allowed to beg her to stay and that I'd support her leaving.
I told him this and we had a great 2 days. The day after this conversation we had a wonderful family day of spending time together and going to dinner but yesterday he returned to his old ways of snapping at her and this time it was over him being mad that she had the bright overhead light on him too long. He apologized a couple of times last night and finally they started talking again before bed. We woke up to the satellite being accidentally shut off and our water heater is leaking more than it was last night. Needless to say he's in a mood, plus, he has a headache.
They left separately but she returned and told him to stay gone. She's wanting him to pack and leave for good.
Please pray. I'm begging for a miracle. I can't lose my family.
Please. I want their marriage healed. Please.

Even if they do end up separating, that doesn't necessarily mean it's over. It might wake them up to make the changes necessary to go on together.

I know it's scary and sad, and I'm sorry.
