It is terrible when a child is murdered or abused but that's not the worst thing in a world. Should they die, they may find a loving God on the other side who will show them what they never knew in life. In the case of abuse, they may even discover that while still alive and in the presence of God's servants.
The absolute worst thing in the world is the lie. Many of the children who grow up completely surrounded by lies end up being doomed from the moment of birth to the end of eternity...unless God miraculously renews their minds. This doesn't happen often.
The lie can be so powerful that the worst cases are overlooked by society at large. If the majority of adults can't see the corruption then what chance does a little baby stand of steering through the muck? The example I am about to use may offend some people but I need to ask it for the question is on my mind every day.
I know of three beautiful children who were up for adoption. Two boys and a girl. Just the most adorable little things you would ever see. Initially they were going to be given to a Christian couple, both doctors with a fine record of humanitarianism and service to humanity. These children had the pick of the litter. Most healthy children in the USA are aborted so they were among the few.
Instead the agency decided that the political agenda was more important. The three children ended up in the custody of a wealthy lesbian couple with ties to racist political groups. The children were not abused, in fact, they were pampered with material gifts and acts of kindness. However, they spent their entire lives being indoctrinated into the radical views of their parents and the views of the teachers at the elite private schools. All three children went insane. All three became extremely sexually promiscuous while being 'activists' in what they were indoctrinated to believe in. They did not know the difference between right and wrong, love or hate. These things just seemed to flow together in their messed up world. They still believed that they were doing good. They would join human rights groups and work at soup kitchens. They would appear kind and sweet in public but if someone dared disagree with them on their beliefs..well...that person needed to be destroyed. They refuse to hear anything about God because he represents everything they were taught was ugly and evil in human society. Nothing short of a miracle can save them...well two of them anyway. The young lady died while shooting heroin with her lesbian lover.
You could use the argument that if only they only read the Bible this would not have happened but if this is true, then what need for parents to teach their young? You could use the argument that if only a Christian had been there to minister to them then all would be well. Well why didn't this happen? Are Christians that outnumbered by the power of insanity and evil?
As far as I can tell this sort of thing can't be stopped unless the few remaining sane people manage to cure an entire nation of insanity and corruption. What group of mortals can do that? If God is supposed to give them the strength then why have they failed? How could God allow this? These wondrous little beings could have easily been heroes and dedicated servants of Christ with just a nudge in the right direction. Instead their fate took a different turn now and likely forever.
