Still doesn´t answer the question why he didn´t create this desired state right away.

I understand that it is hard for you to keep in mind that atheists are talking hypothetically when asking such questions about your god concepts.

No, I did not answer that question. You are right. I can only suppose the answer anyway because God does not tell us.

It is not hard for me to keep in mind that for you it is hypothetical. I stated what I said on purpose with the full knowledge that atheists do not believe. I was attempting to show the futility of a good vs evil argument when one is unwilling to be part of the fix.

No matter what, sin is still a "Freedom" you may think to sin is a curse, but do you think to love is a curse? And God may not have given you the ability to think like Einstein... but I'm sure you have other things you can do well - which I believe are gifts from God.
Sin is only a freedom for those doing the sin. Hitler had the freedom with his sin, the millions and millions of human beings killed had no freedom at all. No free will from your god for them.

I´m probably misreading your posts, but to me they often sound as if they were supposed to be an answer to the question asked. I have been sort of disappointed several times, when after longwinded explanations it finally came down to "I don´t know either".

Except that my question is not "Why didn´t god provide a solution for the problems he created?", but "Why did he create those problems, in the first place?"

It seems to me that, when science doesn't know the answer to something yet, science admits it doesn't know yet. Religion and "faith" (hope or guess) says either "God did it" "No one can understand God's mysterious ways" "I have no clue why God would allow babies to burn everyday in Darfur, however God must have a reason for it" whenever Christainity doesn't know the answer to those tough questions.

If you insist on this terminology, I dispute that freedom is always a good thing to have.
you may think to sin is a curse,
Being made with the inclination to sin is a curse.

but do you think to love is a curse?
What´s this got to do with anything?

And God may not have given you the ability to think like Einstein... but I'm sure you have other things you can do well - which I believe are gifts from God.
Doesn´t change anything about the fact that our collective freedom and the freedom of each single individuum is limited (which was the point you wanted me to substantiate).

Sin is only a freedom for those doing the sin. Hitler had the freedom with his sin, the millions and millions of human beings killed had no freedom at all. No free will from your god for them.

yet many who died during the war were soldiers.... THEY knew there was a chance that they were going to be killed - as for the thousands murdered by hitler - keep in mind hitler himself wasnt the only one doing the killing.... and unfortunately the decisions of one man affected millions.... yet there is always the possibility that Hitler could have been an entirely different person had his upbringing been different.

LOL! I am long-winded, and yes, most of the time, I do place a disclaimer at the end of my posts. I do this because there are rarely clear answers to the questions that atheists ask. I can only give theories especially since using Scripture is considered circular.

I cannot even guess why God created the problem. I could, but I won't. It would just end up in "I really do not know" anyway.:)

to love is a freedom, or choice that everybody has. Like the choice to sin or not.
Thats like your mom giving you the freedom to love your sister, or brutelly slaughter and/or burn her.

So do you understand why somebody like an "all loving creator" would do that? Cause he does just that.

God has given us the choice to be evil.... or to love, thats what im trying to say.
Your mom has you and a infant baby sister. She gives you the choice to be evil or love. So you burn your baby sister in the oven and your mom just looks in the background and watches and simply says; "I gave you a choice, you chose to be evil" then she goes back down and sits on the couch and watches the rest of The View.

well, no. I don't believe God does... if my brother was to kill his son... it doesn't mean our dad is going to kill him.
But your dad should've stopped it don't you think?

but what can dad do? If my bro shoved his son into a preheated oven.... dad would try to interfere... but if my bro is determined enough he can resist dad until its too late.
