Jesus' example was to always keep the Sabbaths, and we are to follow His example. The Sabbath is a day isn’t it?
Jesus told us that the Sabbath was made for man not God. He told us he is Lord of the Sabbath, and he showed by his example that it was no longer a law. .

You cant just make things up. That doesn't make them true.
"Some of the Pharisees asked, 'why are you doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath?'" (Luke 6:2)
Evidently, there were some who believed He did not always keep the Sabbath.

Where exactly did Jesus, by example, show us that the sabbath was no longer a law?The Sabbath is a day isn’t it?
Jesus told us that the Sabbath was made for man not God. He told us he is Lord of the Sabbath, and he showed by his example that it was no longer a law. Now if you want to keep the Sabbath for the Glory of God, go right ahead, but don’t put people down who don’t agree with you. that it is still a law.
Who said that every day is holy. The bible states that there is only one holy day, and that day is the sabbath. Now I will totally agree with you that we should live our lives in a holy fashion each day because of who we are. But every day is not holy. If it were, we'd be unable to do any secular activities. For a Christian every day is holy. A Christian is a temple of God, and as such is always in God’s presence.
For those sabbatarians who keep the Sabbath, what is and is not lawful for them to do? Thanks

As far as a law,it is quite clear.Scripture says, dont let them judge you for not keeping the Sabbath, dont let them insist on asceticism, etc. The context is clear.Where exactly did Jesus, by example, show us that the sabbath was no longer a law?

(Matthew 12:1-8) “ At that time Jesus went through the grain fields on the Sabbath. His disciples were hungry and began to pick some heads of grain and eat them. When the Pharisees saw this, they said to him, "Look! Your disciples are doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath." He answered, "Haven't you read what David did when he and his companions were hungry? He entered the house of God, and he and his companions ate the consecrated bread—which was not lawful for them to do, but only for the priests. Or haven't you read in the Law that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple desecrate the day and yet are innocent? I tell you that one] greater than the temple is here. If you had known what these words mean, 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice,' you would not have condemned the innocent. For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath."
Just to make sure that you see what Jesus said I would point out that he told us the disciples were innocent of breaking any law.
Not just "a" day but "the" day - God calls the sabbath "His" day.The Sabbath is a day isnt it?
Just exactly how did Jesus do this?Jesus told us that the Sabbath was made for man not God. He told us he is Lord of the Sabbath, and he showed by his example that it was no longer a law.
I never pull people down. If people feel they are being "pulled down" it might be the conviction of the HS.Now if you want to keep the Sabbath for the Glory of God, go right ahead, but dont put people down who dont agree with you. that it is still a law.
So how does that notion, which has always been true BTW, change the fact that God's sabbath is the seventh-day and He asked for us to remember it?For a Christian every day is holy. A Christian is a temple of God, and as such is always in Gods presence.
Wouldn't that work both ways? Before you tell people that they don't have to observe the sabbath shouldn't you have proof of that? BTW, do you consider the Ten Commandments of doubtful disputations? It is obvious that you prefer to obey the Old Law, well go ahead, and my God bless you.
(Romans 14:2-6) People range from those who believe they may eat any sort of meat to those whose faith is so weak they dare not eat anything except vegetables. Meat-eaters must not despise the scrupulous. On the other hand, the scrupulous must not condemn those who feel free to eat anything they choose, since God has welcomed them. It is not for you to condemn someone elses servant: whether he stands or falls it is his own masters business; he will stand you may be sure, because the Lord has power to make him stand. If one man keeps certain days as holier than others, and another considers all days to be equally holy, each must be left free to hold his own opinion.
One bit of advice I would like to share. Before you go around telling people they are not living the Word of God, it would be wise to ask Jesus if what you believe is right.
Nah......Mary is a hotter topic than thatThis topic is just as hot as homosexuality.
Not just "a" day but "the" day - God calls the sabbath "His" day.
Now think about it you believe that the Sabbath is Gods Day. Did Jesus think the Sabbath was Gods Day? Read again what Jesus said about his day then.
(Mark 2:27) And he said to them, The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath; so the Son of Man is master even of the Sabbath.
Now to me that is telling us that the Sabbath was made for man. It was a special day for man, now all days are special for man, because God has mad his home in us.

I think they answered that on this other Sabbath threadBy the way yes it does go both ways and Jesus told me I was right. Trufully have you ever asked him? Have you ever heard him tell you to keep the Sabbath?
The Ten Commandments are relevant as completed by Jesus.
So then Jesus is saying He is God, I agree. Jesus is God. I mean He did write the Ten Commandments with His finger did He not?Now think about it you believe that the Sabbath is Gods Day. Did Jesus think the Sabbath was Gods Day? Read again what Jesus said about his day then.
(Mark 2:27) And he said to them, The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath; so the Son of Man is master even of the Sabbath.
Where does scripture tell us that it "was" a special day but is no longer a special day? Where does scripture ever say, "Forget the sabbath...it's no longer Holy"? Where are we ever shown in scripture that the day God sanctified, set apart and made Holy was changed and thus no longer sanctified, set apart and made Holy? Now to me that is telling us that the Sabbath was made for man. It was a special day for man, now all days are special for man, because God has mad his home in us.
Question: Who's law was Jesus accused of breaking?(Matthew 12:1-8) At that time Jesus went through the grain fields on the Sabbath. Are there any sabbatarians that do view it that way?*snip*
