sorry seesaw I edited my last thread and added another site after you answered. And yes, but it is some evidence if not conclusive. It was in the area where Noah was supposed to be building his ark.

Lets agree on something like there is scientific evidence of the Moon. There I can see that.

I meant that the bible gives dates (I think I can't remember) that some people take literally.

sorry seesaw, there are no dates in the bible,
the calendars which we date by appeared much later.
And for those of you who keep referring to the Hebrew Calendar:
The origins of the hebrew calendar (which give a 'traditional' date for the creation) is UNKNOWN.
Plus, you CAN'T make a straight conversion from the Hebrew calendar to the current day Gregorian calendar which we use.

Hey Smilin, you said:
"The origins of the hebrew calendar (which give a 'traditional' date for the creation) is UNKNOWN."
Logically, if it's that old its origin probably will be UNKNOWN. This doesn't invalidate it at all, in fact quite the contrary. It goes to show that the calender really is old because there is nothing to document its origin.

But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
One day in Heaven is one thousand years on earth.
Why do I believe the earth is only 6,000 yrs old?..... God created the world in 6 days and rested on the 7th, remember 1 day to God is one thousand years to us.

So, according to your calculations, 6 x 1,000 years = 6,000 years....
Plus the approximately 6000 years since Adam.
So you're saying 6,000 years + 6,000 years = 6,000 years?
Interesting math, to say the least. Is that by any chance the old math.....the new math......or maybe the aftermath?

Sanai, you are adding words to my post
there was no 'plus' in my post. I did not say it has been 6,000 yrs since Adam, I said the Earth is 6,000 yrs old.
Maybe your difficulty to understand is because you are adding things to what people are trying to say, therefor, confusing yourself.
