  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

They're being used by a fascist regime, and thus they are acting as a fascist arm.
False!
It doesn't help, either, that they pretty much have a "Come join ICE, you can hurt brown people and make money!" inviting all manner of scumbags to come wear a mask and violate the rights of the American people.
Pulling the race card ignores the facts .
I mean, seriously, this is the official website right now:
It takes a lot of agents to undo the mess created by previous administrations who ignored the laws of this country to build a voting block.

Shall we talk about ignorance? Just look at the Somali voting block in Minnesota. The politicians in that state allowed the fraud to explode because they were afraid of losing Somali support. Yes the goal of many liberal politicians in allowing the massive influx of immigrants is to add voters to their side. It just seems to have back fired in Minnesota.

Republicans would do better to drop these sorts of conspiracy theories and focus on why immigrants don’t vote with them and how to fix that.

Somalis represent about 2% of Minnesota's population and in 2024 about a quarter of them voted for Trump. Omar's district in particular has a higher concentration of Somalis but she would have won it handily without any Somali votes at all.

No, it is not the goal of "many liberal politicians" That is a bald faced lie and you know it. It is nothing but ignorant fascist bigotry. To promote it is seditious and for a Christian to do it is corrupt and degenerate.

Yeah, these Commie Marxist Fascists with their woke liberal agenda always fail to include the incredibly large amount of illegal Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, French, Dutch, Russian, and Ukrainians that ICE deports every day.

It is well above your pay grade to characterize my Christian faith. If not for votes what is your explanation for many liberals supporting and allowing the massive influx UNVETTED illegal immigrates into this country many of which were criminals. Your rant is just a cover for a lack of a reasonable explanation for the mess the previous occupant allowed to happen.

I am not characterizing your faith. I am disappointed how many persons seem to be using it to jusify bigotry. Biden let too many people, that's a fact. But he thought he was facing a humanitarian problem. "Creating a voting block" is just an accusation the Right has conjured up to cover the opinion that not only were there too many, they were the wrong color and for the most part the wrong religion.

It is simple to explain why. Republicans don’t support giving benefits to illegals nor do they aid in the type of fraud uncovered in Minnesota. Republicans favor LEGAL immigration with vetting. Since you believe my claim about increasing the voter base is one of the reasons for the flood of illegal immigrates allowed by the past administration. What is your explanation for the mess Trump is now cleaning up.

I am not a bigot, you are wrong again. You are right Biden let too many people in but your reasoning is wrong ! Your comment about the “wrong color” and “wrong religion”is typical liberal race baiting rhetoric. The position of many liberals on the issue of immigration is not consistent with current immigration law.

Undocumented immigrants can't vote. Asylum seekers, refugees/tps here legally can't vote. The only immigrants who can vote in Federal elections are the ones who have full citizenship.

Since many of our immigrants are from Latin America and very frequently Roman Catholic your argument falls flat. Early in the present administration Trump wanted to bring charges against the Catholic Church for money laundering and tried to get Musk involved in a scheme to have them declared a domestic terrorist organization. I think that's when Musk began to sour on the Trump administration. It became clear to him that the reason he was supposed to axe USAID was not because of corruption but because a substantial amount of USAID money went to Catholic Relief Servces. Catholics were very useful to the Christian Right for getting Roe v. Wade overturned, but they are not quite as supportive or are actually opposed to the rest of the MAGA social agenda. The Attorney General has a task force trying to justify the theory that only "Bible-believing" Christans are entitled to the religious protection of the first amendment, an idea that goes back at least as far as 1988 when it was a plank in Pat Robertson's presidential campaign platform. So yeah, if you can't yet run them off, at least don't let any more in. MAGA! I don't play the race card because so much of what passes for racism in this country is nothing more than religious and cultural bigotry.

Generally they can’t but there have been some cases where they did. But the point is that the goal is to eventually make voters out of them. Why are many liberals against voter ID, why are some states giving drivers license to Illegals? Future voters is but one goal of the left and I assure you compassion is not at the top of the list.

Pure right-wing fantasy.
Why are many liberals against voter ID,
Because the ways in which it has been implemented or attempted in the past have disproportionately affected certain classes of people and denied them the opportunity to vote. A national ID system that's either free or has a gradational means-based fee schedule and is easily-accessible to all citizens would likely see little to no pushback. The current ID situation is fragmentary and inconsistent, with every state having their own system, some states requiring ID and not others, and different states accepting different forms of ID. For most people, this isn't really a problem. But it does cause difficulties for a significant number, and most of those people are poor and/or minorities. Our constitution guarantees all citizens the right to vote, and deliberately putting up barriers to make it more difficult for certain groups of people (even if those groups represent a relatively small number in absolute terms) is illegal.
why are some states giving drivers license to Illegals?
Because they're driving. All things considered, I'd rather know that the person on the highway next to me has passed an exam certifying their ability to drive than fuss about their immigration status.

I don’t believe your claim, hence calling it a conspiracy theory. Illegal immigration has been a problem for every President in my lifetime. Biden didn’t “allow” illegal border crossings but it is inevitable that they will get through anyway. He was much more generous with asylum claims than previous administrations, for better or worse, but that was not done to bring in more voters. That was intended as a humanitarian action.

Republicans in general may say they are for legal immigration but the Trump administration is very clear that legal means exceedingly limited and only to favored groups, which pretty much excludes anyone from south of the border or much of the African continent.

Watch again. She is turning the wheels right when the spin happens. She is turning away from him.

There is a video from the shooters phone released.

https://x.com/AlphaNews has it as their pinned tweet. I dont know how that got released if they are investigating but IMO, he was mad at being mocked.

It starts with him getting out the car to film their vehicle. He does one full rotation around the vehicle. She moved her car back in the beginning as she tells him "that's fine dude". He didn't seem concerned for his safety. You can see his movements reflected from the vehicle.

You can see where he switches the phone to the other hand to draw his gun as his hand briefly covers part of the camera. It was as he was approaching the front for a second time and the others were arriving. The partner was mocking him telling him to get lunch if he wanted to come at them. He doesn't drop the phone at all but did call her the b word after he shot her. No remorse IMO and then didn't render aid or let anyone else do so.

They were taunting him, but that's not supposed to carry a death sentence. If he thought his life was at risk he wouldn't be walking casually around and in front of the car. The gun shots were the start of the second walk around. I cant believe anyone thought it was a good idea for him to share that video.

That doesn’t sound too good for this officer. He shot her out of anger, not self defense.
