I personally do not hate ICE, but I do feel that the thing has been mishandled. The way I see it is if a person is here illegally and that is their only crime leave them be. Now, if they are committing other offenses and/or they are using government resources then sure get them out, but still do so with respect

There are always going to be people with issues in every organization. While there are dirty cops, I don't hate all cops because their job is to keep the streets safe. Same with ICE. The point of ICE is to detain and deport people who are here illegally. I agree with this. Allowing people to come into our country illegally, only invites people who have criminal history, gangs and other people that are trying to destroy our country from within. I have no issues with asylum seekers or people who want a better life for their family, but hopping the boarder is not the way to do this. And if you disagree with this idea, people should be then trying to change the law, rather than barricading ICE agents in with their cars and pointing guns at them. Or doxing them by posting their home address online so people can go attack their family... This is how bad things happen... and how people are pushed to do things they normally wouldn't do because they feel threatened. I'm not saying its correct or right, but cause and effect comes into play.

I'm amazed they've only had one crazy shooter target them.

Their reputation for cruelty, viciousness, arresting first and confirming lack of documentation later, zip tying children and the elderly, etc. Is well documented and well deserved.
A school board member in our town was accosted and detained fishing in the park, and she had to call an immigration lawyer to eventually get released.
They have quotas and can only fill them by grabbing the harmless and hardworking, disrupting families and terrorizing neighborhoods.
I have heard other personal stories--none good.

Well because they ruse immigrants.
They use the "administrative warrant" as a ruse to gain entry into a home, a practice sanctioned by ICE to overcome the lack of judicial authority. They rely on the warrant's official appearance to pressure or trick them into giving consent, which is the only way an administrative warrant allows them into a private residence. Basically, they are lying .

Just one of many reasons.

The Department of Homeland Security has shared a montage of ICE raids alongside clips and music from the Pokemon theme song, as the Trump administration continues to ramp up its hardline stance on immigration. In the compilation of footage, which was posted on Monday (22 September), enforcement agents can be seen arresting individuals, whilst clips of the popular anime show are interspersed throughout. The one-minute video, captioned with “Gotta Catch ‘em All!”, ends with Pokemon cards showing the people arrested and their alleged crimes.

Basically there are two main positions on Immigration law. Those who want safety and secuirty of borders but also law and order in society. Then there are the radical Marxist ideologues who want open borders and defund the police as they believe there should be no borders and law and order is oppression.

They oppose government power to enforce laws and want a free for all in the name of a DEI utopia. Pie in the sky stuff. Its often decends into violence because if we look at all the groups who have this ideology they end up using terror to achieve the destruction of the percieved oppressors.

ICE is seen as an arm of the oppressor Trump who is a Nazi and fascists that must be stopped. Just applying the normal law enforcement that any rational society would apply to keep their borders safe is deemed as oppression and therefore this must be met with terror.

Its more or less the same ideology as Islamists. Except rather than a Caliphate and Sharia law or bringing about Allahs rule. The Marxists ideologues want a Socialist utopia of some sort where all outcomes are equal. BUt both percieve the world as there being oppressors and infidels that must be stopped with violence and terror.

They see the world as oppressors and victims so every action against the percieved oppressed which includes terrorist groups and harden criminals and organisations is seen as oppression and must be met with terror.

They have the perfect army in that many are already criminals, gangs, organised crime and terror groups that are utilising the deluded western ideologues who fall for all this ideological thinking. The two have some weird cojoining like we see with groups like Queers for Palestine and Hamas. Its a strange phenomena.

But their common hate for all things western, whites, Jews and Christians unites them.
