Blacks and Hispanics are three times as likely to have an abortion than whites. Its not because they are black or Hispanic though, its because they are also three times as likely to live in poverty. Poverty drastically increases the number of abortions that people have. Poverty also drastically increases crime, drug addiction, spousal abuse, teen pregnancy, assault, murder, and suicide, among many other things.
When taxes on the rich were 94% the American economy thrived! Now taxes on the rich are only 35% (and Romney wants to lower them to 28%.) Theres PLENTY of room to raise taxes on the rich. If instead of lowering taxes on the rich and cutting programs that decrease poverty, we were to raise taxes on the rich to fund more programs to decrease poverty we could significantly reduce poverty and the problems associated with it.
So why do most pro-life Christian voters focus so much on candidates that want to lower taxes on the rich, and decrease funding for the poor? Is lowering taxes for billionaires really so much more important than reducing poverty, abortion, crime, drug addiction, spousal abuse, teen pregnancy, assault, murder, and suicide?
True. The whole system is rigged from the top down.I like to look at the two men hung on their cross beside our Beloved on that sad but great day.
Both sinners, but one was haughty and mocking the King, the other, humble and acknowledging the majesty of the King.
While it is impossible to know the fate of the haughty man, it is more than clear that the humble man was granted reprieve for his faith.
How jealous we are of that humble man. He lived a raucous and immoral life. Yet at the time of his death, he recognized the NEED for a savior and he turned from his wicked ways.
I think what it boils down to is how many times the proud and haughty should bail out those raucous immorals. How many times should the govt feed her children. How many electric bills should it pay for that old man who drank away his youth. How many times should it repair broken pipes delivering water to bathe that drug addict. How many children should the govt support while the deadbeat dads stroll around looking for their next foolish lover.
That is the way neocons judge the 47%ers. They're lazy, good for nothing leeches who won't pay their fair share. Little do they know, that without them, there is NO food. There is NO warmth for them. There is NO shelter for them.
And all it will take is for the 47%ers to STOP working. Don't show up to that farm. Don't show up to that gas station. Don't show up to Walmart. If the 47%ers quit working, the 1%ers would starve to death. PERIOD.![]()
You don't know what "Most Christian pro-life voters..." do because the voting booth is private.
It's common knowledge that Christians predominantly vote Republican. However, even if this weren't true my post would still apply to Christians who do vote Republican.

Congratulations on realizing the truth. Mainstream sources are all compromised, but you can stay current on the lies thru alternative news sites. I maintain it is important to vote a write-in because non-participation is viewed as apathy or consent.I know that nearly everybody in every church I have ever gone to will vote straight ticket republican. These people believe it is Gods will and it is reinforced from the pulpit. Until very recently I was this way myself until Donald Trump threw his name in the ring then I started thinking what if he is the republican presidential nominee could I as a christian vote for him then I started anylyzing the people I have cited for and found them wanting then I wonder what kind of man God would want me to vote for I prayed read my bible and was led to the conclusion that the type if men God would have me vote for would due to their scruples be unavailable for political office. I believe only a write in would be morally acceptable and since that is unproductive for the second time since I turned eighteen I will not vote I was incapable last time. When I explain this to "Christian" friends and family they range in responses from a blank stare to denouncing me as a sinner who needs to change his ways some even have scripture for this. Just my experince with no media influence I dont watch news or read political stuff in the paper much anymore as it has ceased to matter to me.

I thought that at first but a write in seems a waste of time it always takes hours to vote.
Feeling good about writing my own name in is far better than feeling anything less or having mixed feelings about not voting at all or voting for a lesser evil. The laws vary by state, but a write-in vote is important only if it makes you feel good to have done this.
It may or may not be counted, and it certainly will not be reported anywhere until many months later when some obscure government website MAY list your vote on some spreadsheet. And that will happen only if the person(s)--remember that you have to have a Vice-Presidential candidate, too--are announced candidates of one of the half-dozen or so minor parties. If you decide, for instance, to write-in Colin Powell (for example), it will never be recorded anywhere.

When did feeling good about what I do fall out of fashion? Was it when winning was supposed to be more important?

No, but anyone who thinks of doing this ought to go into it with his eyes open and understand the way the election laws, etc. operate--which few people who talk about writing-in do. Of course, this is not something that the average person would have much reason to be expert in, I quite understand.
So my point is simply this--don't do it if you think you are sending some message to the world; do it only if you want to be at ease with your own conscience and no minor party candidate is acceptable.
virtually none of which are eligible to receive any votes.
If they are running then what makes them ineligible to receive votes?
