i will give you 3.
1. Jesus said "by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified".

That refers to a matter of a specific doctrine. So your question about that is...?

2. author Gary Geenberg provided over 100 in 101 Myths of the Bible.

Is he well recognised among the relevant biblical scholars in his field, what is is hermeneutical method, and his theology.Plus his list.

3. The Apostle John corrected more than 4 other o.t. errors in The Apocryphon of John.

That book is not recognised as authoritative by very many Christian scholars.

Paul might have said that; Jesus did not. Even if he had, it is not obvious how it is supposed to help you make your case.

I wonder if they are all as impressive as the other two in your list?

The Apocryphon of John is a gnostic text written in the second century, by which time the apostle John would have been of a ripe old age, wouldn't you say?

NO, the trouble started when a group of people decided that they had god given authority to decide for everyone which writings were scripture or not. They were wrong.

No doubt the later Catholic Church was authoritarian enough to have liked to have d9ne that. Unfortunately, during the centuries that the canon was in formation it didn't have that kind of power, and, by the time it did have the power of the Roman state behind it, it could only rubber stamp a fait accompli.

Post #2 was an excellent answer to the original question.
However it looks like the real (rest of the question) as Paul Harvey used to say, is can anyone rely on scriptures for truth. Is the heart searching for truth or error? You will find what you are looking for, in scriptures or the newspaper.
The old saying goes, "two men behind bars, one saw mud the other saw stars".
It all depends on what your heart is searching for.

it only takes one error to disqualify writings as not being scripture and I provided you with over 100. there are more, but you do not seem inclined to investigate them directly, so they would be wasted on you.

Where did you give that detail?

And, mo other comments remain. It's easy to discover 'errors' if one's interpretation is askew.

it was my responsibility to provide qualified and credible sources for the errors in the o.t. which I have done. It was your responsibility to provide credible evidence to refute them, which you have not done.

Has Greenberg been baptized? Is he a follower of Jesus?
Greenberg holds a Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University School of Law and a B.A. degree from Brooklyn College, where he majored in mathematics.

Greenberg works for the Legal Aid Society of New York City and is a well-known criminal defense attorney.

He is President of the Biblical Archaeology Society of New York and a Fellow of the Jesus Project, an organization of biblical scholars concerned with issues related to the “historical” Jesus. National Geographic Television’s Science of the Bible series retained Greenberg as a consultant to the series and featured him in a documentary on the story of Cain and Abel.

He has also been a guest on numerous radio and television shows, including Tony Brown’s Journal on PBS, and proved to be a provocative and entertaining speaker and skilled debater.

He is a member of several scholarly organizations, including the Society of Biblical Literature, the Archaeological Institute of America, the Historical Society, and the American Research Center in Egypt.

He has published articles in several scholarly journals, including the Journal of the Society for the Study of Egyptian Antiquities, KMT, and Discussions in Egyptology and has presented papers at several scholarly conferences, including the annual meetings of the International Society of Biblical Literature and the American Research Center in Egypt
He maintains a web site at Bible, Myth and History.

Some of the fascinating topics covered in this books

● the Synoptic Problem and Evangelist sources
● the mysterious Q source supposedly used by Matthew and Luke
● the problematic relationship between John and Mark
● the matter of altered endings and added stories in the Gospels
● evidence of scribal changes to the original Gospel texts
● the unreliable nature of the Greek text underlying most modern translations.

Who Wrote the Gospels? Why New Testament Scholars Challenge Church Traditions

101 Myths of the Bible: How Ancient Scribes Invented Biblical History

The Moses Mystery: The Egyptian Origins of the Jewish People
Greenberg shows that the first Israelites were native Egyptians and that the history of Israel before the Exodus is based almost entirely on Egyptian mythology.
The Twelve Tribes of Israel never existed.
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were characters from Egyptian mythology. The biblical story of Jacob and Esau, for example, draws together several myths about the Egyptian gods Horus and Set (the feuding twin brothers who fought even in their mother's womb) and weaves them into a story about biblical patriarchs.
