Why didn't Jesus sin? How did He keep from sinning?

I think Jesus asked this in one or more of the Gospels.

John 10:34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

which interestingly enough comes from

Psalm 82:6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

It is the same mentality that produces the boastful claim, "I do this because this is what Jesus did." The purpose is to make the listener feel badly for not doing what Jesus did.

You have assumed that it was said as a boast. I have seen and heard it said without it being a boast. You have also assumed that the intent was to make the listener feel "badly," any decent coach, trainer or manager will tell you that sometimes the best motivator is to point to someone both parties respect.

I will accept that in the spirit in which it was written.
