Why didn't God create us exactly like him?

Maybe we'd all be happier, in the end, if we made the effort ourselves to be loving individuals, rather than have the Lord do it for us.

Agree, but we can resist temptation and accept the works of Jesus through us, no? And feel joy because of it, without stepping into pride. We are not saved by works, that's for sure!

So Adam and Eve were just like us. They needed to learn how to behave themselves so they could survive and flourish in the Lord's magnificent creation, which is revealed to us as we mature.

We can't have both.

God "can" do evil too, if he chooses too, so in that respect we are just like him.

I'd like to think some of us who are interested in trying just aren't as advanced as God, yet others have no desire to be good at all, and everything in between...our free will choice.

I think most people desire to do good. Most like peace and joy and life. But we cannot fix the breach and obtain God's holiness. So we need lord Jesus to save us. It is His righteousness that repairs the breach to our Heavenly Father. His blood cleanses the sin nature from us.

YHVH is not human (a man) that HE COULD LIE......

In His Perfect Righteousness, He cannot do the evil that men do every day.

Just like Jesus - IF Jesus sinned at all, ever, then He Could Not Be Our Saviour. Everyone would be condemned.

Man IS all that you say, but most people want to be good, and be accepted by God. But, they are sinners and cannot help but sin. And that angers them causing more rebellion.

Even the worst people want to go to heaven brother. And they are trying to get there any way except THE WAY. Look at all of the false religions. The people who crucified Lord Jesus thought they were doing God a favor. That is the nature of sin and demonic deception.

They did not want to get to heaven , they wanted power and blessing to have things their way.
They did not have any goodness in their heart, nor anything or any way to serve YHVH,
unless they REPENTED of their sins, were immersed, and were born again by the will of the Father.

As Jesus Says : UNLESS your Righteousness EXCEEDS that of the Scribes and Pharisess, you cannot enter the kingdom of heaven.

and JESUS calls them "sons of the devil" , wicked and evil,
nothing "pure" inside them. (anyone subject to the prince of the power of the air, which according to GOD's WORD is the whole world) ....

Mankind is corrupt, and getting worse. "The wicked are becoming more wicked; the righteous more righteous".

Nothing good is in man's heart in mankind/ society. Many(most) would rather choose (and do according to Scripture) to remain as they are instead of going to heaven.
