Paul didn't have a copy of any of the Gospels when he wrote that. He also did not have the benefit of studying under Yahshua during Yahshua's ministry. Paul taught primarily from the TaNaK. However, I would by no means call him a spiritual baby.

He was having Christians thrown in Jail and even killed. He had no written stories about Jesus and His ministry to work with. The stuff us Grown Up Christians have learned about in Sunday School as children.

That is correct. According to God's Word, God written word is not required for salvation.

The reason why stained glass widows exist in churches is because for hundreds of years most people couldn't read. So they needed the gospel presented in pictures.

You have misunderstood, when I say Paul was taught by Jesus personally, I do not say it as a metaphor but a biblical fact.

Gal 1:11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
Gal 1:12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Gal 1:16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:

Paul saw Jesus in a vision, at best.
Then never wrote about what Jesus said or did.
