Why demons must obey!!!

This is something I wrote 10 years ago. It may have some terminology in it that is strange to you. I hope it makes sense. In it are some keys to casting out devils. How to. Why they flee. What actually takes place when you command them to leave... etc. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

The Effects of Belief Spoken Words
on Time, Space, and Reality

There is a model of spirit make-up that says that spirits are words incarnate. They are the sum total of their logosystem. Jesus is said to be the living Word, the Logos. He is the spiritual manifestation of the Logosystem of God. He is the Word. When we are born again, we begin to be made after the image of Him. Gradually, as more of the word is added to your logosystem, you become more like him. You are a subset of the total that is Jesus.
Following this logic, and adding the Mark 11:23 process of belief being manifested into physical reality by speaking the contents of the logosystem, we can see the process of the creation of the worlds and the ages. We can see that all that is or will ever be is simply the contents of the logosystem of Jesus being spoken into existence by Him.
Evil therefore is the attempt by the devil to create lies and manifest them into existence by the same process. If you consider that the devil and his demons are also spirits, then you will understand that they also have logosystems. The logosystem of the devil is lies incarnate. It is darkness, death, and destruction. The logosystem of the unregenerate is a subset of the devils logosystem.

Actions of spirits are regulated by the
contents of their logosystems.

I happened upon a truth in the early 80s that I have found a certain amount of substantiation for. A demonic spirit, like a spirit of God, cannot act contrary to the contents of it's logosystem. It will always behave and react in accordance to what it believes to be true. It is belief regulated. Unlike living humans, a demonic spirit has no soul and therefore has no logic, reason, emotion, or will. When placed in a given situation, it will always instantly react to stimuli in accordance with the contents of it's logosystem or belief. People who see demons say that they can and occasionally do pass right through walls and barriers. But most of the time they will actually use doors, windows, and other openings that exist in the material world. They will sit in chairs, walk up stairs, and behave exactly as if they had physical bodies. I believe this is because even though they can pass through any physical object, they are "belief regulated" to obey physical laws. The contents of their logosystem is such that they have to operate in accordance with what they believe. If they believe they have to go through doors, they have to. Since they have no soul with which to reason past this, they must always act in accordance with their logosystem. This is especially true of the smaller demons who have limited logosystems. There is a theory that many earth bound demons are the spirits of pre-adamics or pre-flood beings that were perverted by satan and darkness. If this is true, then it could be that when they died they carried their "physical reality" logosystems into the spirit realm with them, and so act in accordance with them even though they are now spirits.

In our present day dealings with demons and evil spirits it is important to understand how this works. When you understand that demons always MUST act in accordance with their logosystem, then you can begin to see how we can cast them out in the name of Jesus!

Two elements that exist in the logosystem of every demon spirit:

(1.) Jesus created everything that exists in both the spiritual and physical worlds.
Col 1
16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven,
and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be
thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things
were created by him, and for him:

(2.) Jesus decended into hell and defeated the devil and all the principalities and powers of the devil:
Col 2
15: And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made
a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

These facts have been imprinted in the logosystems of every demon, and they have to act in accordance with them!
Read the following very carefully, for in it lies a faith reality which when entered into your logosystem will make you a demon casting terror to the devil:

When you (that is the spirit of Christ in you) evoke the name of Jesus, and commune that reality into any demonic spirit, it will react in fear, terror, and paralysis. Because it does not have a soul it cannot reason who you are. It sees Jesus and it sees the horrific defeat it suffered in hell on the day Jesus was raised from the dead. When the spirit of Christ in you communes (that means it shares information) with a demon, that demon sees Jesus. It cannot reason Jesus is in heaven with the Father or that the spoiling in hell actually occurred 2000 years ago. When you commune Jesus into that spirit, all it can see is utter fear and terror. When God spoke the words "you are Lord and Christ", that truth entered the logosystem of every demonic spirit in all creation. When the name of Jesus is evoked, every demon must instantly act in accordance with that truth.

That certain truth is inserted into the logosystem of the demon is evident from the scriptures:

Matt 8
29: And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do
with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to
torment us before the time?

Mark 1
23: And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean
spirit; and he cried out,
24: Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou
Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee
who thou art, the Holy One of God.

Mark 5
7: And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with
thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by
God, that thou torment me not.

Acts 19
15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and
Paul I know; but who are ye?

James 2
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well:
the devils also believe, and tremble.

These demonic spirits instantly reacted to the presence of the Christ spirit and the spiritually communed spoken word. In each case the reaction is blind mindless fear. Demons are helpless to resist fear. It holds such power over them that they will be rendered totally helpless when the name of Jesus is communed to them. '..the devils also believe, and tremble..". That the word says "the devils believe" is fascinating. It is precisely because they believe that we hold such power over them in the name of Jesus. The name of Jesus simply lays them low. They must react in accordance with this belief that has been communed into them by God.

James 4
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil,
and he will flee from you.

The word "flee" carries with it the idea of fleeing as a fugitive (Gk "pheugo" Latin "fugio"). The being is always captive to your words (because of Who it is that lives in you and Who it is that is actually speaking the words). Some even read the word to mean "escape". It is not a matter of your chasing him away, rather he must escape from your presence as quickly as possible! Quite a difference! It changes from you being attacked by a demonic spirit to your getting the upper hand and the spirit finding that it is all he can do to escape from your presence (that is the presence of the spirit of Christ in you!).

The word "charismatic" is used in reference to those of us who believe in the freely given "grace gifts" of God.

Rom 12:6 Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly: if prophecy, according to the proportion of his faith;
Rom 12:7 if service, in his serving; or he who teaches, in his teaching;
Rom 12:8 or he who exhorts, in his exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

Well, I believe in and practice the "grace gifts" and have for more than 30 years. On occasion, I speak in tongues, heal the seak, cast out devils, receive revelations, and prophesy. Am I a Charismatic?

Even if I don’t claim the label (as you should well know)?

I know people who claim to be Charismatic but who practice none of the above. Are they Charismatic?

This is not a loaded question. Honest. I would just like to know how you feel.

Someone who believes in all the gifts, and operates in them....Someone who is babtised in the holy spirit. pretty much.

I fully understand the power of words whether words of life or words of death. I am not sure if I read you correctly. Are you saying the the more Word we have in our "logosystem" the more demons have to subject themselves to us and our words?

Hi GM,
Faith = word revealed or spoken into a believers spirit by God
"Logosystem" = the sum total of all the words spoken into a believers spirit by God.

Sometimes things do not happen because people do not have faith or are "faithless".... that is, they do not have the specific "word" in their spirit that is needed to accomplish the task at hand. They just need the revelation.

We had a neighbor family that had adopted a boy who had come from an abusive home. The boy was in his teens at the time I met them. His was full of problems that nobody seemed to be able to deal with. The authorities had declared him mentally retarded. He would not go to school, was often abusive to his step parents, and was constantly fighting with other kids. He could not read, but did have an interest in the Bible, which I tried to help teach him to read. I would visit the family and share the Bible with them occasionally and they all were receptive including him. Yet when I left he would again become abusive. One day the nephew of the family came running to our door and explained that this troubled youth had a baseball bat and was threatening to kill the mother, and would I please come and help. I ran up to the house and saw the young man in the front yard with the bat over his head yelling obscenities at his step mother. I yelled his name and he looked at me with a fierce look on his face. I said "In the name of Jesus come out of Him you foul spirit!"
A look of astonishment came over his face, he lowered the bat, looked around confused, and went in the house. I further shared the Bible with them, and he became very calm. After that event, he started going to school, and we helped teach him to read. He eventually finished school, was married and had children. He continued to have problems off and on, but was much better! I lost touch with him some years ago.

wow! I hope that young man has found Christ in his life to help him deal with his issues. Thank you for the testimony.

Hi didaskalos I understand what you are saying but I think you are making satan and his kingdom out to be more dumb than he really is. We see in the word where Sceva's sons spoke to a spirit. They tried to cast it out with Paul's Jesus. The spirit said "Jesus I know and Paul I know but who are you? And then enter him." You are saying some stuff that is not in the word. We can shout the name of Jesus all we want at the devil that's not gona make him leave. He will leave when he knows that we know what were saying, like you said Faith.
