Clearly Christians do not follow the old law, nor do we follow the Sabbath.

We obey God - and that means keeping the Sabbath as Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) taught (without all the extra rabbinic traditions) Keeping Shabbat and keeping kosher was taught against by those who broke away from the True Faith sometime after the
Bar Kokhba revolt

Messiah Yeshua said if we do not obey God, He will reject us even if we do thingsm for Him:

Lawless - Without Torah
Matthew 7
21 Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.
22 Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?'
23"And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS

Eating pork is explicitly forbidden and we are NOT to eat it. The Holy Spirit is dealing with you because eating pork is an abomination to God.

Deuteronomy 14

3 Do not eat any detestable thing. 4 These are the animals you may eat: the ox, the sheep, the goat, 5 the deer, the gazelle, the roe deer, the wild goat, the ibex, the antelope and the mountain sheep. 6 You may eat any animal that has a divided hoof and that chews the cud. 7 However, of those that chew the cud or that have a divided hoof you may not eat the camel, the rabbit or the hyrax. Although they chew the cud, they do not have a divided hoof; they are ceremonially unclean for you. 8 The pig is also unclean; although it has a divided hoof, it does not chew the cud. You are not to eat their meat or touch their carcasses.

Isaiah 65 was written to the gentile nations:

1I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name.
2 I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts;
3 A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick;
4 Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine's flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;
5 Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.

When exactly in modern church history did all this ruckus trying to put us under Jewish clean/unclean laws start? Are you smarter and more spiritual than Martin Luther and Jonathan Edwards and Billy Graham?

Ok, I'm listening brother. This isn't a hard one for me because I rarely eat pork anyway. But, if that is true then I am confused.. Isn't this part of the law of moses? Clearly Christians do not follow the old law, nor do we follow the Sabbath. Where is the dividing line here? What parts of the old law must we follow and which can we ignore?

If you listen to some here, the line is wherever they decide it is on some arbitrary, unbiblical criteria.

Don't eat pork if you feel you are led in that direction. As Christians we are allowed freedom, and that includes abstaining.

I would encourage you to follow your convictions.

Just remember the Christian theologians and writers of basically all time have eaten pork, such as (off the top of my head) Luther, Calvin, Milton, Edwards, Wesley, Bonhoeffer, Lewis, Graham, and countless others.
Luther became a vegetarian because of convictions.

They are not in the bible and therefore we only assume they really were Christians. In light of many of their teachings, if they had lived in biblical times they would have been considered false teachers.

Just because they did something does not make it biblical.

Your very own passage is against you. Jesus had just defined the Golden Rule as the entire Law (Matthew 7:12). Then he said that those who break this Law are the ones he will cast away (Matthew 7:21-23).

You are also quoting an overly narrow definition of anomia. Anomia meant to break a law, not necessarily the Torah. It depends on the topic. Matthew 7 is a great example of this.

Nothing like misquoting scripture to justify your sin. Matthew 12 Yeshua said was a summary of the law, not the entire law. He never said that was all you had to do:

Matthew 7
12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

If you are going to quote scripture, quote in context and do not change the meaning to fit your agenda.

God said eating swine is an abomination to Him (Isaiah 65) Anyone who claims otherwise is either a false teacher or a false messiah.

If Yeshua had taught eating swine was acceptable, then He could never have been accepted as Messiah and the Pharisees would have used it to show how He could not have been the Messiah.

You need to either choose to obey God or suffer the rejection of Messiah Yeshua. He said to OBEY GOD --- not the "golden rule" (summary statement) otherwise He will reject you at the day of judgment regardless of all the works you did for Him.

There is no excuse to intentionally go against what God said and He said eating swine (and other animals He said not to eat) is an ABOMINATION. It will be the so-called "christians" in the tribulation that will sacrifice a swine on the altar in the temple - something which Messiah called 'the Abomination of Desolation' -because "Jesus cleaned our pork chops so we can eat what God said was an abomination" Of course, they will be doing this in God's name.

Why do so many insist God changed and insist they can do whatever they want and still be saved???

Since my agenda is to get to the truth, I'll stick to my agenda.

I didn't quote Matthew out of context my friend, you did. Jesus declared the Golden Rule to be the entirety of scripture (Law and Prophets). Then he said those who break the Law will be cast away. That's the context. The last law (nomos) referenced before anomia was Jesus' Golden Rule as the Law. Really. It's just a fact.

He also said working on the Sabbath was against His law. Jesus was rather busy on the Sabbath, as I recall.

LOL, Jesus wasn't accepted as Messiah anyways. Remember? The Jews murdered Him.

Jesus has a Law:
Treat others the same way you want to be treated for this is the Law. Come enter through the narrow gate. 7:12

You combine two scriptures and misquote it - that is NOT coming to the truth and it proves you have an agenda that is NOT biblical.

I choose to not debate with false teachers that twist scripture to lead people down the broad road to hell.

Matthew 7

9 “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! 12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
The Narrow and Wide Gates

13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

Yes, the narrow gate is the Golden Rule, not avoiding pork. Thank you!

By the way, if you read Jesus' Sermon on the Mount, after he teaches the Golden Rule he gives four teachings on judgment to say what happens to those who accept the Golden Rule as Law and what happens to those who don't. Your passage is one of those judgment stories. I'm really not breaking the context... you are.

Luther became a vegetarian because of convictions.

I was speaking of Martin Luther, not Martin Luther King, JR, and Jr., contrary to what you might find on the internet, he wasn't one either. His family became vegetarian later.

Martin Luther the reformer certainly ate pork.

Just because they did something does not make it biblical.

In other words you do believe you are more spiritually gifted than all the great Christian reformers and theologians throughout history, and the vast majority still now, that believe the clean/unclean laws to be nailed to the cross.

I think it's easy to see the New Testament is quite clear that the Jewish eating restrictions are no longer in effect, and so do the vast majority of theologians from Christ till now.

Some people really, really wants to be put under those laws, and will use any means possible to try to manipulate the Bible to agree with them. Don't listen to them, just read the New Testament for what it says.

Martin Luther, the reformer, was a vegetarian.. Vegetarians in History

He identified with the higher levels of abstainance and adopted a vegetarian diet. He was against indulgence, and at the time he was in the monastic life, meat was usually reserved for sick people. He was against all forms of greed and corporal pleasure, which had been so prevalent in that time of the catholic church, he also devoted him self to fasting and purity in soul and body.

Though Martin Luther contributed much to the faith he was hardly the man of character that I hold in high regard. He was known to be very chauvinistic and anti-semitic, two qualities directly contrary to Christ's teaching, as well as very closed minded quick to condemn as heretics those who would support anything he thought was contrary to scripture. (Heliocentrism for example)
