I don't believe in "The One." I think that's a concept created by movies and fantasies. I believe God has created a population of people, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. I believe that it's our decision to make based on the qualities of the other person as well as how well you click. Does God have a plan? Sure... does God have one person created for you? No.
I'm single because I'm fat, ugly, stupid, anxious, and I lack confidence, sense of self-worth, social/communication skills, and dignity. I also have relatively specific standards and rarely click with anyone, especially women. If I find any woman who's good enough for me then I'm certainly not good enough for her.
I don't think I'll ever get married. I don't necessarily deserve to, either. I feel as though bringing somebody into this world is worse than murder since they'll have to suffer a potentially similar fate. In this sense, I'm actually more of an evolutionist... but I don't consider myself to be one.
