why are you single ?

Well, for one, my being extremely introverted and quiet certainly doesn't help. I'm not shy, but I am quiet...I'm a listener, not a talker. I think I may come across to most guys as dull or something, which I'm not...sooo...it really stinks to have such quiet personality sometimes.

I'm picky and have very high standereds when it comes to a type of guy that "interests" me. Therefore, I don't have many "crushes" or whatever you want to call them. It takes a certain type of "something" to catch my eye, interest me, attract me, impress me, ect ect.

I'm also waiting on God, and patiently too I'm happy to say. I know for a fact that I truly want to be married one day (God willing), but I also know for sure that I'm not ready for marriage, therefore...I have great contentment in waiting on God about this particular thing. I'm 21...there's no hurry in my opinion.

What I really find funny, are people like "I'm waiting on God to find the perfect one"...I don't quite think that is how it works...I think you're the one who's looking, and God will give you the sign that this is the person you're suppose to be with...but I don't know anymore, I just would like to be in a meaningful relationship with someone....I don't want to get married anytime soon, but at least have a girlfriend...yeah that would be good

That used to suck for me as well...until I realized that a friend of mine is having his first divorce before I even get married which then that leads me to think...that could have been me several years ago. I'll take philandering around the world of females until I find one that wants to settle down with me. I'd rather be trying and failing with serious intentions than giving up because of pain and waiting for that one after so much depression and failed standards skew one's vision.

I don't think I'm single because I have high standards. I've only ever really liked a handful of people my whole life. It's just those that I've liked haven't liked me. Of course it doesn't help that when I do like someone I'm terrified to say anything about it.

So I am single because I am biologically and psychologically inclined to be so.

Is it because you are too picky ,you have high expectations, you are waiting on God time , you are not attractive, or outgoing, All the good ones are married .... why are you single ? LOL

I have peeps ask me this a lot...you seem to be a great guy...why are you single type of situation.

I'm good looking sure I need to lose weight and be healthy but I'm working on it.
I have a good sense of humor.
I write from the heart and spirit.

It isn't God's timing yet for me of course I will introduce myself "My name is Drewski, nice weather, and so on" because I don't believe there is a Heaven UPS to expect a wifey in 4-12 weeks. You got to be yourself and say "Hey" and be friends and so on.

Right now, I'm taking a break from relationships for a bit to focus more on the Lord. I ain't worried, God got the best for me in the future

I'm in the same place and I'm 24. If I do hang out, it's all married couples and me.

That used to suck for me as well...until I realized that a friend of mine is having his first divorce before I even get married

One of my friends is also divorced, but that's mainly because he married a girl who still trusted her mother way to much, and the mother happens to be off her rocker. She was convinced that my friend was demon possessed because he couldn't find a job. There is more to the story, but this isn't the place.

I haven't the slightest idea how it normally goes. Maybe its because I won't put up with crap, idiocy, or be used as a door mat. That right there eliminates over half the male population (no offense to any guys....It would eliminate over half the female population too, but that I don't care about ).

Because I don't have male friends so I don't know what they are like I'm very picky and I don't judge people by looks alone.

I don't think that most of us know the "real" reason, or that it may be a combonation of things.

My cut and dry: waiting on God's will and timing. For that brings everything together.
