I would almost kill to live in Seattle.

In the mean time, stuck in Puyallup.
Haha, my Grandma lives in Puyallup. Dude, there's a lot of hot chicks in Puyallup. It's Tacoma that has the bad selection lol. Although you're right, there's not much to do there. Except when the fair rolls around lol.

Ahh... I miss the NW. I should be in town again in January.

You should go to like... WWU or UW if you want to move to a place with lots to do. Or CWU if you want to get into an easy place but there's not much to do there.

Tacoma's alright. Women up there have a bit more personality than Puyallup. Girls down here try to act like their from Beverly Hills or some place as fake. Of course, let's not forget how rampant this county is with STDs, teenage mothers and wannabes.

But then there's downtown Puyallup. Typically better looking women and more things to do than South Hill. Either way, I'd still almost kill to live in Tacoma (North or Westgate) or Seattle.

I hate it when guys talk about women like we were property. *glares*
I work at a restaurant with a bar and was a busser here for about nine months.

Don't even get me started on how the women in the bar treated the guys. It's enough to make a militant feminist feel sorry for the guys!

North Tacoma is beautiful... and I hear ya on how the women treat the guys! I get sexually harassed at my work ALL THE TIME. My team has like, 15 women and 3 guys and I'm by far the youngest one so I catch it all :sigh:

Just the way you guys are talking right now is making me feel like my sex/gender is a just a piece of property..... :(
But you're not... it's just the way guys talk amongst themselves. Nothing personal. I know I wouldn't talk to a SO that way. Girls talk to each other in a different way too. But I guess we should leave it off your thread.

*Glares* So guys talk about women like they are something to be owned? I'm sorry its bugging me. I hear my brother and his friends talk about girls all the time. They don't talk like you guys are....I'm just confused.

I'm kind of at a difficult age.

I don't meet alot of christian women but the few I meet my age are usually married already, or too young ( aka still in school) .The ones I meet that are older (in their 30's) tend to be divorced with children, which is something I'm not ready to handle.

going to a church with 20 people doesn't really help much heh.

I'm confused, brebre. I don't hear anyone treating women like property. I hear guys agreeing that it's difficult to find a woman they can connect with, and I hear Constantine saying that the girls he meets tend to act like the richie rich spoiled brats from Bevery Hills... how is that treating women like property? Women discuss the same sorts of things.

I'm single because....

I'm shy
I wasted a lot of time in college and wasn't able to buck up the courage to ask girls out
Nobody wanted to date me in college because they thought I was still Catholic
I don't have a very "healthy" social life (read: none at all basically)
I attend/work at a church that is 75% old people (70s and higher)
I think it's rude and incredibly awkward to ask for a girl's number that I've just seen randomly on the street

LOL they were turned off because you're Catholic? What does that matter?

I don't have a social life either....... *hides*

And I agree, I do think it's weird for anyone, male or female, to randomly ask for someone's phone number. Now sometimes people feel that it's a bit more tame to ask for your email or something - less personal, you can reply after you've had time to digest what's been said, etc. But usually that's always done after you've been even slightly acquainted with the person - introduced, brief chat, etc.

Jeepers, social courtesy is tough to navigate sometimes!
