Why are you a non-denominational Christian?

Because the concept of Christianity being divided is dumb and seems to make us separated.

I don't even want to call myself non-denominational as it seems to be a contradiction in itself. Just call me Christian.

b/c that's what I've always been. It's where I feel comfortable and is a perfect balance for me. I agree w/korvus that the concept of dividing Christianity is dumb and actually does more harm than good.

Because I believe being labeled to a denomination is unbiblical. The early Church had no denominations. Not that I'd condemn anyone who is part of one.

You know it's kind of arrogant to call yourself a "true" Christian, because what you consider "true", other churches (Catholic, Orthodox, Episcopal, Methodist, etc.) might consider false or heresy.

There is ONLY one Church and it is the children of God. Anyone who is NOT a child of God is NOT the Church even if they call themselves a "Church". It doesn't matter what these other "Churches" consider. The consideration of God is what matters.
