Why are We Here?

Why are we here?
For what purpose do we exist?
Why have we come into being?
Do our lives even have meaning?

Are we just here for fun?
Are we here to entertain ourselves?
Are we here just for laughs?
Or is there a purpose we exist?

Well God created us all for a purpose,
And he has a plan for our lives,
And that is that we believe in Him,
Believe in His Son Jesus Christ.

For Jesus Christ gave His life for us
That we might die with him to sin,
That we might follow Him in obedience,
And that we might now live for Him.

I’m asking myself the same thing tonight. I think it’s to learn and grow in the lord and to die to sin. It’s happening in my life. But there is no success generally speaking. We’re never going to get there, to realize our dreams. But He wants us to be close during our struggles to be like Him and to die to sin. I haven’t done what I thought was going to happen, but I kept trying. While I did I achieved much of learning to walk as I should To me,and in the mean time much godliness happened. There were failures and some things turned out better.

I finally got to put my thoughts on paper and prayed and came out positive. Not a great man quite the opposite- parallel. So I think God wants us to learn endurance and patience in struggles. It’s not going no where. just leaning on His mercy as don’t give up.

Why are we here?

4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. (Eph 2:4–7)​

So that, or in order that, or for the purpose that... He might eternally demonstrate just how gracious and kind and loving a God He is in reguard to the sacrifice of His Son for our sins. In other words, we are here because God wanted us to be an object lesson to expose how good He is.

yeah that’s a good general answer. I see how He shows up in my own life. He is so good to gives a life and nurture it. I feel like I’m wandering in smaller and smaller circles and Gods giving the increases. I stay focused on Him and all I need is added unto me. It’s a miracle of Gods own provision and being, like your saying. Because He loves us/we are His.

God is love. We were created in love to live in love (to have a loving relationship with Him and amongst ourselves)... an enemy showed up and started a war .... thus we live in a spiritual battlefield on planet earth ... however God's love will prevail. God's love (agape love) is putting others before self. We are to serve Him and serve one another .... this is what true undefiled humanity was and is to be ... one day it will ... right now there are spiritual forces attacking that paradime ... one day God will restore it .. for eternity.
