That's not correct. When you look at illegal immigrants' place of birth, India has the third-largest population in the US. Mexico is #1 by a huge margin (4 million), but #2 (El Salvador, 750k) and #3 (India, 725k) are very close to each other. Asia (including India) accounts for 15.5% of all illegal immigrants. There's nothing in the news about the ton of Indian and Asian immigrants being deported. Why are those brown people being left out of the great brown people purge? It's because virtually all of them immigrate legally. Trying to find an illegal alien from India or Asia is probably like trying to find a needle in a haystack. So it's hardly all immigrants.
Okay that's a surprise to me. Yes I made the blunder of posting an assumption without verification. But I've never heard about Indian and Chinese immigrants being deported. That's not correct. Regarding all immigrants (legal and non-legal) in the US, there are about 10.6 million from Mexico and 2.8 million from India:

What the data says about immigrants in the U.S.
In 2022, roughly 10.6 million immigrants living in the U.S. were born in Mexico, making up 23% of all U.S. immigrants.www.pewresearch.org
That means that, among immigrants from Mexico, about 37.7% are here illegally, while among immigrants from India, about 25.9% are here illegally. Among those from China, the number is about 15%.
Yes, the numbers from Mexico and Central America are higher, but they're nowhere near as disparate as you claim.

I would have guessed the same as you. But now that I think about it I do see a lot of Indian immigrants, or descendants of immigrants. And India is just massively populated and theres well established family and cultural connections between here and there.Okay that's a surprise to me. Whatever the case, they come to mind when I hear about how they're trying get rid of all of the "brown people" immigrants.I would have guessed the same as you. Why then is a Senator suggesting an overstay of a visa be a federal crime in new legislation? Because currently an overstay of a visa is not a crime whereas crossing the border illegally is. Senator Banks Introduces Bill to Make Visa Overstays a Crime, Increase Penalties - Senator Jim Banks100% of all illegal immigrants are criminals. That is why they are being deported.
He (rather ICE) is going after the "low hanging fruit." They're hitting places that are most likely to have illegal aliens without having to do any significant investigations. These raids get them big numbers quickly and easily and looks good to the president.Because "deporting criminal aliens" was the message and action of Democratic Administrations.
Although Trump has been trying to sell the message of going after violent criminals, it's fairly obvious now he's going after everyone.
Oh, what crime are they charged with and how much time do they serve?100% of all illegal immigrants are criminals. That is why they are being deported.
Illegal immigrant. Synonyms for Illegal: Unlawful, Illicit, Forbidden, Criminal.
Why don’t we refer to other criminals as “illegals?” Should technically every person who commits a crime be called illegal, by your definition?Illegal immigrant. Synonyms for Illegal: Unlawful, Illicit, Forbidden, Criminal.
In essence you're saying that calling them "criminals" is preferable to calling them "illegals".Why don’t we refer to other criminals as “illegals?” Should technically every person who commits a crime be called illegal, by your definition?
Why is this particular class of crime just so egregious, people are willing to abandon their humanity, even using dehumanizing language, to enforce it?
Saying entering the country illegally isn't far apart from calling it a crime. Or put another way, illegal and criminal aren't mutually exclusive. So?
"Illegal immigrant" is a colloquialism, not a legal term, so right off the bat, it's, at best, questionable to use the phrase to imply a certain degree of criminality.
Additionally, two words being synonyms does not require that they mean exactly the same thing. If it did, then all of those synonyms would also mean exactly the same thing as each other... but they obviously don't.
I’m wondering why the distinction. Hoping you can explain it.In essence you're saying that calling them "criminals" is preferable to calling them "illegals".
Saying entering the country illegally isn't far apart from calling it a crime.
That isn’t “putting it another way.” That’s a separate statement.Or put another way, illegal and criminal aren't mutually exclusive.
That’s because you’re conflating colloquial usages of the word “crime” with the precise legal definition.
Oh, what crime are they charged with and how much time do they serve?
MYTH #1: Anyone who enters the country illegally is a criminal.
Facts: Being an undocumented (or “illegal”) immigrant has been, until now, only a civil,
not a criminal violation. Under federal immigration law, unlawful presence in this
country is a civil offense. The civil penalty for being in this country unlawfully is
deportation, or removal, which the U.S. Supreme Court has held is not “criminal
punishment.” However, some states—like Arizona—are trying to criminalize an
undocumented immigrant’s mere presence.

Equal crime means equal time. That is what feminist fought forEquality. It's how the MAGADonians implement DEI. They're a lot more woke than they let on.
