:shakeshead:So are you saying that the only people who died in 9/11 were godless or bad Christians,
No, no, no.
The stories of avoidance did not only come from Christians.
A friend of mine from work had a story similar to Virginian's. Her son was drinking with friends at night in a park, and fell roughly 300 feet into a gorge. He barely remembered it, but described the last six feet as if something caught him and gently lowered him to the rocks. He only suffered scratches and bruises -- nothing broke.
I don't think the son was a Christian, but there were others praying for him at some level.... general teen-wisdom prayers.
I don't see Christians as the elite force that gets everything they want, or nonbelievers as totally separate from God. He counts the hairs on our heads, He follows the lives of everyone. It's a matter of listening and connecting with Him.
I agree. Christians die all the time. But it is also possible that God would have allowed a believer to be shot along with the rest.
Thnx.I don't think anyone said that these people died because they did not believe in God. S
Virginian, thanks for telling us your story! There are many people out there with very distinct interventions, but it seems so more plausible to hear them first-hand.
About God intervening, and angels intervening -- Jesus urged us to ask God for things.
