I have responded to and challenged your posts in #123, 126, 130 and 131.

How would you like me to understand your lack of any responses?
He doesnt have an answer, I challenged him prior and he ran. There is no basis for the fear he is trying to spread.
So true!

Keep in mind, the prodigal Son never lost his sonship.
Keep in mind, the prodigal son repented
and thus was forgiven.
It's always interesting to see how much the point gets missed (or avoided).

Through forgiveness, fellowship was restored. Just as 1 John 1 teaches.

Once a son, always a son. OSAS.

Or, once saved, always saved. OSAS.

Or, once born again, never perish. 1 Pet 1:23, John 10:28

All BACs who are habitual (unrepentant) sinners ...
the ones who are deceived into believing they still
remain in Christ ... MUST REPENT and get off the
broad road to hell and get on the narrow path to heaven!
So then, salvation is ultimately up to how one lives, not what one has believed. The deceived one is this poster.

Jesus was clear in John 10:28 about the final state of those He gives eternal life: they shall never perish.

And Jesus was just as clear about WHEN a person HAS eternal life; then they believe, per John 5:24, 6:47 and John's agreement in 1 John 5:11 and 13.

Why wouldn't any believer not like these great verses? But, none of them say anything about losing salvation.

All of these verses about about Christians living the Christian life, as opposed to Christians not living the Christian life.

This is exactly what Paul admonished the Ephesian believers to do in Eph 4:17 -
So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking.

The Greek word for "no longer" means to STOP.

Yet, Paul NEVER suggested, much less said that salvation can be lost.

Did you notice what was missing from the appeal of this crowd, who wanted and expected to enter the kingdom? Faith. They appealed to their works for entrance into heaven.

Did you also notice what Jesus said to them? "I NEVER KNEW you". How could Jesus said that about anyone who had EVER believed in Him? And we know what He does for everyone who has believed in them: He gives them eternal life, and they shall never perish.

Additionally, John 3:18 and 2 Thess 2:12 prove that it's ONLY those who "never believed" who will be condemned.

Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

So, those who have ever believed (like the 2nd soil) cannot be described as "have not believed". They DID believe. And thus, shall never perish.

Matthew 13:
49 So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among
the just, and cast them into the furnace of fire.
50 There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
This is about the Great White Throne Judgment, where the ONLY REASON for being cast into the lake of fire is for not being in the book of life, which means they NEVER received the gift of eternal life, because they NEVER believed in Christ as Savior.

Real simple.

Some have been to hell and seen some "believers"
in hell, and some "believers" in outer darkness!
Why should anyone trust the words of delusional people?

These were NOT doing the will of the Father,
but were practicing lawlessness (wickedness)
instead of practicing righteousness!
Do you not understand what Jesus was referring to in matt 7:21 about the "will of the Father"? It wasn't about lifestyle. It was about believing in Christ and receiving eternal life.

Here is what Jesus said specifically about the will of His Father:

John 6:40 - For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”

This is a repeat of post #129 ...

Salvation is a process which is completed at death.
Please understand:
man’s co-operation is involved in his salvation.

He can choose to fall away, fall from grace,
draw back to perdition.

He can be shut out of the Kingdom of God.
He can be shut out of the New Jerusalem.
He can be blotted out of the Book of Life.
He can gain eternal death, and he can lose eternal life.

All of this is clearly stated in the NT.
Would anyone care to see some of the verses?

Here is my response to your post #129, in post #131 -

As we all know, there are NO verses that support these claims:

"He can be shut out of the Kingdom of God.
He can be shut out of the New Jerusalem.
He can be blotted out of the Book of Life.
He can gain eternal death, and he can lose eternal life.

All of this is clearly stated in the NT.
Would anyone care to see some of the verses?"

But go ahead and provide any verse that actually says any of these 4 claims above.

Oh, I must add, claims #1-3 are applicable only for those who have not ever believed.

So, to be clear, you need to show any verse that makes these claims against anyone who HAS believed in Christ and received the free gift of eternal life.

The 4th claim is preposterous in light of what Jesus said in John 10:28, the verse that you have refused to deal with.

Because it refutes the claim that saved person (possessor of eternal life) can perish.

Your claim is directly AGAINST the words of Jesus.

According to your own views, that should result in loss of salvation all by itself.

So, merely claiming and teaching that salvation can be lost is a reason for losing salvation, for your theology to be consistent.

But, we'll see just how consistent it is.
