Who's your favorite Christian music band

i just thought I'd start a thread to check out some other Christian music. Doesn't necessarily have to be your favorite group. Just post whatever you like. As for me I like Hillsong of course, The Newsboys, Danny Gokey, and many others. Here's one of my favorites from the Newsboys.

and "He Is NO Fool" twila paris he is no fool - - Yahoo Video Search Results There is no significant visual media for these links. There really is no need for such enhancements; just close your eyes and focus on the words. Twila's voice is heavenly in my ears.

It's a close competition for me between the wonderful and many great older Christian and Christian-pulling-towards songs of U2....which helped me some at times when I was still seeking.

and other newer bands that are really good at times, with real jewels, like Hillsong's jewel here --

and oh I really love this one (it starts slow but then you'll see...) --

And there is some other really amazingly good stuff, from several bands, and I could just on and on, wonderful things....

I checked out the first video she's amazing!! She reminds me a bit of Olivia Newton John. I like her music also.

For praise and worship, Hillsong is favorite by far. Latest album is Wonder.

For Christian rock (not praise and worship), I like Skillet and Thousand Foot Krutch. Both of them are harder rock and have both a Christian and non-Christian following. Songs are often not overtly Christian, though some are, but do always have a Christian worldview.

Not sure how to embed videos, but I am a big fan of Casting Crowns. I've also seen Matt Maher at Soulfest a few years in a row, and really enjoyed his performance...and Crowder.

If you are into heavier, metal type stuff, I also saw Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh at Soulfest - a young trio of Christian "beautycore" musicians, whose show had a lot of energy ...

I don't think that Hillsong is even capable of singing a song that I don't absolutely love!! Lol I think they are by far my favorite Christian group. Thanks for sharing I hadn't heard that new one.
