I would have to say that my favorite character is Faramir. I feel really bad for the guy b/c his father is a punk, but other than that, he's just an all around "I can kick your trash" kinda guy.

hmmm. does anyone think that legolas had more roles in the movie than in the book? he is a good character especially how he and gimli were friends. you know what. this is soo crazy all this time i thought it was ARAGON instead of ARAGORN. weird. it doesnt really sound that different when they pronounce it in the movies. he is my favourite. its a common favourite but i like his strength. i also like the strider aspect of him.. i really like most of the characters. faramir and merry among the highest too. even smeagol. to tell you the truth i probably would get along least with Frodo -- hes too nice.

Gollum, The poor creature that fought the addiction of the ring. The ring that ruled and disfigured him and broght a life of torment.
And sadly in the end he gave into the ring and died because of it.
He is my "most interesting" character.

There is alot of hidden lessons in LOTR.

dude, totally aragorn!! viggo does an awesome job. i mean c'mon he's the king!! lol he can fight, he can ride.... but i really like faramir too. you just feel so sorry for him!! especially in the EE in the scene w/ his bro and father!! im so glad he gets eowyn!! oh, and i like eomer too... ok, so i like the whole cast... lol

I think most people would say some of the main characters like Aragorn or Frodo o Legolas and I dont blame them cuz thay are CRAZY COOL!!! (especially Legolas with his slick moves with a bow and arrow )...

but some side characters are very vital to the plot... So I would have to say...uhhh...

Boromir...He brought a bit of understanding of how powerful the ring is or can be...in the movie and the books as well....
