Well, LotR is just overflowing with great characters!

Legolas is so efeminate, but his fight scenes kick butt...and I have to admit to having a 6 ft. cardboard cutout of him...lol!

Aragorn is just noble and hott...heehee

Samwise...who DOESN'T love Sam...he's the friend we want to be and have!

Merry and Pippin crack me up!

Arwen is gorgeous and sweet...

But, I really really like Eowyn...I didn't like her at all to begin with...but she REALLY grew on me. She's awesome!!!

OH...and Faramir is SO great!

-Frodo for his innocence, willpower, benevolence, "grace," and sacrifice
-Sam for his comradship, loyalty, love, and endurance
-Mary and Pippin for their fealty, friendship, intelligence (even Pippin in the end finally got it), and stedfastness
-Aragorn for his humility, bravery, knowledge of his limits, and his "grace"
-Legolas for his knowledge, ability to overcome barriers (especially racial ones), friendship, and "grace"
-Gimli for his ability to overcome barriers (especialloy racial ones), friendship, "grace," and comradship
-Boromir (yes, even him) for his ability to put aside own goals for the benefit of all, sacrifice, repentance, and honor
-Gandalf for his wisdom, "grace," sacrifice, and empathy
-Eowyn for her empathy, love, desire for equality, and loyalty
-Eomer for his honor, bravery, comradship, and overall desire for peace despite his warrior profession
-Theoden for his compassion, humility, respect, and repentance, even though he didn't truly need to
-Faramir for his compassion, forgiveness, willpower, and his ability to face his father with respect yet also with righteous disagreement
-Treebeard for his wisdom, "grace," knowledge, and humility

And even other characters had their traits. Even Smeagol for his struggle and was, if it wasn't for a cruel twist of fate, nearly turned to the side of right and repentance.
