Hi all, I'm new to these forums-I've spent a lot of time (too much, my wife tells me) over at Catholic Answers' forums and, in any event, I have a question for you.

You guys or gals ever stray into the Christian Theology forums? I'm sure some of you have but I was amazed at the huge differences in theology that's debated there. I mean, we have some differences of beliefs within Catholicism-most of them probably having to do with personal reticence to go along with Church teaching on some particular matter or another- but nothing like the differences I run into over there that generally stem from varying interpretations of scripture. Some pretty bizarre beliefs from some very zealous folk in some cases.

It's kind of fun-but not always-and definitely challenging to sort of reverse the roles from those at CA where Catholics are the majority and instead become the minority odd man out for a change. Care to share any thoughts/experiences?

Some of the beliefs on the other side are the most novel types of Christianity I have read. :)
