Fox reported that a precinct in Philly had two Black Panthers in full garb and one with a night stick intimidating voters.

Not sure but a citizen complained to the poll watchers (who said the two had been there for an hour) and the police came and removed them. They should be in jail.
Voter intimidation in any form is pretty low.

Glad these two winners got picked up.

Wasn't it the whole "chad" problem in Florida in 2000 election...that a piece of paper "malfunctioned"? :sorry:

Anywhooo...point being...the hoopla begins...:sigh:

Will be an interesting day to say the least.

I think it was more the senior citizens who were reading the ballots that were "malfunctioning." ^_^

Chad malfunctions...

Wardrobe malfunctions...

We got anything functioning properly? ^_^

Oh I hope there are no wardrobe malfunctions with the senior citizens. I don't particularly feel like bleeding out of my eyes today. ^_^

Plus, I got a neat parting gift; a double sided eraser pencil!

You should have played harder to get, you might well have gotten a fountain pen to use so that your vote couldn't have been changed after you left. :D

I voted after church this morning (yeah, I know Tuesday morning church is odd - but very nice). It was a short pleasant walk to my polling place, in another church in the neighborhood. There were plenty of people and activity, more than I've ever seen there before, but still no wait.

I voted for Bob Barr (Libertarian) for President. No use picking the lesser evil between McCain and Obama, since Obama is going to carry my state by a large margin anyway. And I voted for one Democrat, our State Auditor, who is fair and honest, and deserves re-election. Other than that, straight ticket Republican. I was too lazy to research the many ballot measures, judge's races and stuff, so I relied on the recommendations of a good friend who is a local conservative talk radio host, and an expert on state and local politics.

They gave me a cute little sticker that says "I voted!". It's probably got a RFID chip in it. ;)

^_^ lol
Hey, I got a pencil and told him he could keep his little "I voted" sticker...
we just throw them away anyways.

Glad you at least voted -
I'm interested to see how close the early polls are - from what I hear, alot of times they give false information to make it look like dems are winning, so people get discouraged & don't bother voting or whatever else.

I don't trust polls - altho this year they may be closer to accurate, we'll see.
:)

I think for those looking for some definitive answer, it could be along night. I shall now go torture my treadmill while dinner is cooking to release some anxiety and keep my focus off those things that are out of my hands.
