Ah, 80s music. Oddly, I really got into it in the mid-90s. Some of my favorites (including a few one hit wonders): The Police, Van Halen, Midnight Oil, Madness, Tears for Fears, Joe Jackson, The Cars, Thomas Dolby, U2, The Cure, Roxette, Falco, Toto, Men Without Hats, Devo, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran (yes, I'll admit it... online... that I'm a guy who likes some of their stuff. The 'Rio' album, for example, is classic), Wang Chung, A-ha, Beastie Boys, Los Lobos, Taco, Huey Lewis, Dire Straits... the list goes on.

But come to think of it a bunch of 80s bands like The Police, U2, Duran Duran, and The Cars technically formed in the 70s! On that note, maybe I should include Tom Petty on my list!
