Paul. He means business and is not afraid to address the tough topics for the sake of saving souls. A person that would that much invest in writing letters to the churches, no matter what stage or level of maturity they are at, is truly patient and passionate.

I know it's crazy, but I think my favorite is Enoch. There are only a few lines about him in the Bible. But that thought of being so close to God that he just takes you to heaven without dieing... Now that's a goal! :D

Jonathan or Mary Magdalene (it's difficult for me to decide between the two), as examples of pure love and devotion to the Lord.

Jonathan, the son of Saul?

I have a great deal of respect for Paul.
I think he must have been an overwhelming personality to be around. So many people wanted to kill him.

Jonathan, the son of Saul?

Yes, the love for David and that friendship is one of the greatest things in the Bible to me. Apparently David was a type of Christ (and sinner), so I had associated Jonathan with that kind of devotion.

It's an amazing thing to have a friend who is like a brother. :)

I don't think I can pick a favorite. I love Paul's teaching, Jonah made me laugh recently, the apostles all amuse me at times, love Esther... on and on. :)

It's ok, just pick one. They won't be jealous. :D Besides you can always pick another later. :p Hmmm... yes Jonah... the running man :D What made you laugh about Jonah?

Job... thee example of how to deal with adversity, temptations and trials.

Job was amazing.
Always felt bad for him though.
He got everything back, but he still lost his kids.
Reading Job is always a tough pill to swallow for me.
He took it like a champ though. ;)

I guess his normalcy. He ran when God gave him an assignment and then pouted when God saved the Ninevites.

lol
I thought it was funny that he could get away from God, then God didn't kill him, but made him do the assignment anyway

I always found that fascinating. It's like a reminder that God was doing a lot more than was written about. I wonder if He worked with other groups or just individuals. Also, I love it when a stranger roles into town in any story. :D
