God does not contradict Himself. God is not wishy-washy. Therefore, if a person is hearing God tell them one day that Covid-19 is His judgment, then another day hearing God tell him that Covid-19 has its origins in a natural cause, then on yet another day hearing God stating no it is My judgment on homosexuality, that can't be God, God doesn't work that way and He doesn't contradict Himself that way or at all. Someone hearing all of these contradictory voices would be wise to seek a more mature Christians help and refrain from sharing what they are hearing because something is wrong with their ability to hear from God. And other people would be wise not to take that person's comments as anything from God.

People can make up their own mind, about the way I sought God. I have put it all honestly here, so people can make up their own mind.

I will first show through historical stories, that God has used the method of visions, or His spoken voice to communicate with me. I then will describe what I think of the virus. Not that past experiences or even current, are a complete indicator of true revelation, we can make mistakes. I have a degree of certainly, enough to say what I think.

One morning I got up and walked into the hall and I heard a voice that I believed was God say "How would you like to be stabbed in the Valley". The Valley was known as the rough end of town, and the voice scared me a little, I wondered if I had done something to offend God. I had planned to go down to the Valley to ask people out to church as was my habit at the time. In the end I went anyway regardless of the fear. I walked up to the first person I met and asked him if he would like to go out to church. He said to me "I am an atheist, I don't believe in God". I just said "fine", but hoped to change his mind. He then proceeded to unbutton his shirt and showed me scar marks up and down his chest and stomach. He said to me, "I was attacked by a knife wielding man in the Valley some time ago and spent months recovering in hospital, How could God allow that to happen to me". Then I knew why God had said in the morning "How would I like to be stabbed?". God understood this man, but had a good plan for him. Some weeks latter this man came out to church and became a Christian.

He has also spoken to me in the past via a “voice” based method. Seen here in these two examples:

Some time after the second Gulf War an Australian man Douglas Wood was captured by terrorists in Iraq, who made demands for a ransom or he would be executed. I set about fasting and praying for his release, I said to God "You know where he is....tell me". Three words entered my mind ABC, Bazaar and "a meal". I thought "I am going crazy what has all that got to do with him. Bazaar I though "this is Bizarre". I thought maybe "a meal" is a town so I searched a map of Iraq for a town of that name, but found nothing that really matched. Some time latter Douglas Wood was freed by US troops who came across his captors. It was not until latter that I actually discovered what the three words meant. I was on a forum libertyunites.us and came across a post by a user called ABC in the post she appealed to the terrorists to release Douglas Wood because she had seen him go to a Bazaar (another name for shop) and bought food (sausages I think it was) for disadvantaged people and had provided them with "a meal". So the three words God had given me when I prayed were about that post. So God did not tell me where he was he told me what type of person Douglas Wood was a good man. I believe God saw Douglas Wood's kind action too and blessed with an escape from his captors.

Some times it is hard to gauge how your prayers are going. However I recently had an experience that showed me that God does answer our prayers in miraculous ways. We have a client at work who is involved in Market Research, I pray for my clients on a regular basis. One day as I was working on their Website God spoke to me and said "How would I like to work for channel 9?" Channel 9 in a major free to air TV channel in our country. I was shocked by it and did not know what God was suggesting, but took care with the Website incase it was put on TV. However around a month latter Channel 9 approached the very client who I was working for when God asked me the question. And their business was put on channel 9's program called A Current Affair. God is in control of the affairs of men

And used a lot based method to help me when decisions were hard to make.

On the 10 of October 2012 the LORD prevented us from making a bad financial decision. Me and my wife had found a house that we thought could be a good investment for our future. But our pastor prayed about it and felt that it was not going to be a good investment. So I prayed that if it was not a good investment God would get the bible to open randomly to James 4:13-15, otherwise the bible would open to the verse in Mal 3:10 about God blessing our finances. I opened my bible on the computer and moved my hand quickly and randomly, first selecting a book of the bible, then a verse, all without looking where I was choosing, and it opened to James 4:13-15 so I knew that God did not want us to go ahead. Jas 4:13-15 “Some of you say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to some city. We will stay there a year, do business, and make money." Listen, think about this: You don't know what will happen tomorrow. Your life is like a fog. You can see it for a short time, but then it goes away. So you should say, "If the Lord wants, we will live and do this or that."

I believe regardless of the origin of this virus, that God is using it as a judgment. I will explain why I think this.

When the virus first came, I did not think that it was God’s judgment, so I prayed against it, hoping that it would be turned back. When it did not abate, I though back to a vision that I had received before the virus came into my country of Australia. In the vision I heard an angry voice state “invade them”, I thought invade them meant a physical invasion, the voice suggested that them referred to those who sinned, with a specific focus on the sin of pandering to homosexuality.

I then heard a famous preacher in the USA Perry Stone, had received a word from the LORD that the virus was God’s day of reckoning for the sin’s of homosexuality, and abortion.

I then sought the LORD to see if this was the case, that the vision, and Perry’s message was from God.

Every time I asked the response was “Yes it was Him”. There are a few methods I used here, when I used to write sermons I would often ask God to show me a tick in my mind to represent Yes, or a cross to represent no, was the sermon ok to give. This method suggested it was a judgment when I asked. I also got on my knees, and sought God to speak to me, I told Him I am your blood bought son, tell me. The answer was it was Him. I kept seeking, and asked again and again, He said “I will show you”, but I heard nothing, then in a vision I saw the word “yes”, meaning yes it was Him.

But some people on this forum claimed that God had shown them that this was not true, that it was not a judgement. But every time I asked God, I got the same answer that it was His judgment.

But in frustration I tried to ask Him, “did the virus have a natural origin”, “did God send it”, or “did the devil send it”. I used a lot based method, where I would pick three scriptures in my mind from the bible, to represent each of the choices, I would then open the bible randomly, if it opened to the choices in my mind, I would take it to be God’s word to me. When I used this method, after a day and half of seeking, it opened up to the scripture I had chosen to represent “it had a natural origin”. But there was something, I could sense, clouding the choice with darkness.

I then came on the forum and apologized that I may have got it wrong about it being a judgment. But it did not sit easy with me, for all the past things had suggested it was judgment. And I did not want to come against a minister like Perry Stone, and I had sensed darkness around the choice.

So I started to pray again, but I expanded the choices. To “did God send it”, “was it 100% natural, no spirituality involved”, “did the devil seek the Judgment, and God allowed it as a judgment against sin”, “or was it 100% the devils doing”

Using the same lot based method, with prayer over a day or so, it came up not once but twice to the choice “did the devil seek the Judgment, and God allowed it as judgment against sin”.

So I believe even if the virus had a “natural origin”, the devil’s nagging, gave way to God unleashing the virus.

But at any time Him mercy may come upon us, as happened to David.

1Ch 21:15 Then he sent an angel to destroy the city of Jerusalem. But just as the angel was about to do that, the LORD felt sorry for all the suffering he had caused the people, and he told the angel, "Stop! They have suffered enough." This happened at the threshing place that belonged to Araunah the Jebusite.
