In the word, the only Gentile Peter ever witnessed to was Cornelius. If the word doesn't say that Peter witnessed to Gentiles, you can't assume he did. However, it sounds like Peter was preaching the Jewish gospel to Gentiles and was therefore subverting them. Hard passage. I think he would have been prevented in doing so, since the gospels of Peter, to the circumcision, and, that of Paul, to the uncircumcision, were different. Gal 2:7. Whatever Peter was saying concerning the gospel, Paul called him on it - Gal 2:11-12.

Peter hated it? Where are you getting that from?

You don't think that when Peter was eating with Gentiles that he wasn't ministering to them? In fact, if Peter hated that the Gentiles were included why would he eat them?

Why would he defend the preaching of the Gospel before the leadership in Jerusalem and advocate that God had torn down the walls of division between Jew and Gentile?

The only Gentile Peter ever ministered to was Cornelius in Acts 10. The only reason he did that was to help pave the way for the ministry of Paul, the ONLY apostle to the Gentiles. Peter hated every moment of it. No Gentile will ever be a member of the all-Jewish priesthood, unless they are a proselyte.

Have you actually read Acts 10?

"Then Peter opened his mouth and said: 'I truly understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears Him and does what is right is acceptable to Him. You know the message He sent to the people of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ--He is Lord of all. That message spread throughout Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism that John announced: how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. They put Him to death by hanging Him on a tree; but God raised Him on the third day and allowed Him to appear, not to all the people but to us who were chosen by God as witnesses, and who ate and drank with Him after He rose from the dead. He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that He is the One ordained by God as judge of the living and the dead. All the prophets testify about Him that everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His name.'"

Q: Who is Peter addressing?

A: Believers in the "CHURCH" at large

1 Peter 1 (NASB)
1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ,
To those who reside as aliens, scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
who are chosen 2 according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit,
to obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood: (Christ-followers)
May grace and peace be yours in the fullest measure...
8 and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, 9 obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls. (saved believers)

2 Peter 1 (NASB)...Growth in Christian Virtue
1 Simon Peter, a bond-servant and apostle of Jesus Christ,
To those who have received a faith of the same kind as ours,(believers) by the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ:
2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord;
3 seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness,
through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.
