My thread became sticky, yeah I'm glad too so if anyone wanna know more about jesus can look at my thread.

Hey I'm just an atheist here and a broken home boy, why you all so nice to me? coz u know I'm different than you all yeah different.

Anyway thanks for the replies.
And I hope you all want to pray for me, pray for my family.
If many bad conditions in my family getting better so I will admit jesus as my God and I want to be a christian.
But if my family condition getting worse or more worse than before so I can convince myself that jesus is just a liar man not GOD. And you all wrong!

I am not a broken person nor am i a rich human being, God will punish
who do wrong and reward those whove done his will. I will pray that youre whole family will become christians. Glowinthedark, God loves you and will always love you very much. When u become a christian, that doesnot mean that you will hey automatically become rich. God loves people from brokendown street kids all the way to the richest and wealthiest person in the world. He doesnt love our sin, but he will never never fail on his love. Never. Do not wait on your family to get better and say Hey, I will decide to become a christian God will not like that at all.,Its like telling someone maybe new, that if my friendship with ppl are bad, we cant be friends. It may be a bad example. I strongly challenge and urge you to think about God and Jesus and accept Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Become a Christian and pray that your family will get better. God has 3 answers to all prayers, Yes, No,Wait. Become a christian and pray daily. Find a local church in your area. I am not a big religion freak and i have nothing against other religions and I dont know alot on all of them, but i recommend attending a Southern Baptist church. Also, i am not a professor, i am only 19 yrs old, Ive been saved and have had salvation for several yrs now. I was first saved at the age of 12, and to this date, i dont understand 100% about God and his will in my life. I do know that I am saved from eternal(forever and ever and ever and ever) death.

i pray that u believe wat u find to be most true, and not what "scares" u the most into believing something, i believe everyone goes to heaven(and yes that is still christian, falls along quaker lines)

Would you like to have a friend that loves you no matter what? Would you like to have a friendship with someone who loves you no matter what? Jesus loves you that much.Living for Him is not alot of do's and don'ts. When you give your life to Him all of a sudden those other things don't make you happy anymore. I can't find the love that Jesus gives from anyone else but Jesus.(no parent's, friend's, husband , wife, boyfriend, friend or other kind of friend can compare to the love of Jesus) At any low time in my life only the love of Jesus gets me through. He died on the cross for you.Words cannot express His true love.Ask Him into your heart and your life will change for the better. He Loves You. If you were the only one He still would have given His life for you.

Jesus is our medeator between God and people because God is perfect and His expectation from us is perfection which no one can accomplish. I have been christian fpr 6 years because I was desperate about my life, its a long story - in a nutshell I have been evangelizing Jesus since then because I fell in love with his teaching. The more you learn about him and walk with him more deeply you get hooked up with him, trust me. Read the new testment and follow his teaching with all your might he will change your life completely. Glowinthedark, I am sorry about your parents. I don't have the answers, I don't completely understand God's ways. I won't ever know what its like to be in your position, that has not happened to me, so there is no way I can relate or say I understand. There is a reason that terrible things happen though, and it is because of sin. Because man sins, there is death. We see the consequences of sin all around, especially in the news. Our hatred of God, our lies, our thefts, being involved in magic and demon things, adultery, even wanting what belongs to others (coveting) is evil to God. These things, sins, that we practice and do even as children, is the reason there is death all around. Not that it is all your fault. Adam and Eve, God's first people, brought death into humankind by their sinful choices. We all have the sinful nature, we are born that way. God gives us a new body, when we accept Jesus' perfect sacrifice for our sins. But to partake of Jesus' offer of salvation and forgiveness, we then obey our Savior, the one who is saving us from sin and death. When we repent of our sins and turn to God with our whole heart and be born again, God gives us a new nature where we want to please God and obey Him. It's hard, but He promises everlasting life in heaven if we love Him. When bad things happen, it reminds me of sin, the sin that kills us. God promises to be the parents of the orphans, if you let Him.

Dear Glowinthedark, Christianity is very simple (to understand). All you have to do is read the New Testament from beginning to end thoroughly and obey. Most American Christians don't even know what Jesus is teaching, yet call themselves Christians. They are deceiving themselves and others when they do that. We are not Christian if we don't follow Jesus. Please don't follow the crowd. Attending church does not make you a Christian. 'Small is the gate and narrow the raod that leads to life, and only a few find it.' Matthew 7:14 This is a tragedy that most American churchgoers believe all you have to do is go to church and you are a Christian. Please read the NT for yourself. You don't have to go to Bible class. If you read NIV version or NAS. They are not so hard to understand. Please don't rely on anybody but God for help. That's the beginning of your walk with Jesus. Please feel free to pm me. The write of the gospel of John says,

But these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name. John 20:31.

The Apostle Paul says,

. . . concerning His Son, who was born of a descendant of David according to the flesh, who was declared the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead, according to the Spirit of holiness, Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 1:3+4.

The Holy Spirit is clearly saying through all of these witnesses that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

If Jesus Christ is God, Who is He talking about?

Jesus *said to her, "Stop clinging to Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, 'I ascend to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God.'" John 20:17.

Jesus Christ is clearly at the right hand of God, as our Intercessor. Paul writes,

Who will bring a charge against God's elect? God is the one who justifies; who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. Romans 8:33+34.

If Jesus Christ is God the Father, then who raised Him from the dead? What are we to confess? That Christ raised Himself from the dead?

That if you confess with your mouth Jesus {as} Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9?

When you hear and believe the gospel (Eph. 1:13+14) to be baptized into the one body (1Cor. 12:13), to participate with Him in the crucifixion (Rom. 6:3+4), then to be raised with Him and seated in the heavenly (Eph. 2:4-7), then you are a Christian. Jesus is still the Son of God by everyones account in Scripture.

Absolutely. People can believe all sorts of things without becoming a Christian. Jesus Christ is the Word of God (John 1:1-3) who became flesh and dwelt among men. He is the only begotten from the Father. John 1:14. If you read the Four Gospels accounts, you will find Jesus praying to the Father. He says,

"And the Father who sent Me, He has testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time nor seen His form. John 5:37.

Since He was sent by the Father, and returned to the Father, and prayed to the Father throughout His ministry, then we should be capable of figuring out that His God and our God is the Father. If Jesus Christ were God, then everybody would have simply said so.

Who dares to deny the Father AND the Son?

"Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son." 1John 2:22.

jesus is the person who came to the world from a (maybe) virgin, (maybe) prefomed miracle, (maybe) died on a cross, and (maybe) rose from the dead, that is the only proper way to make the statement of jesus, cuz since this requires faith it CANT be proven tru, i will admit jesus is a powerful friend to have

John 14:6 says Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. The first century Christian's were called followers of the way. Since they claimed to have Christ in them they became known as Christians. I don't know why you don't want to consider yourself a Christian, but it is not necessary do it. If you confess Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead you are saved which makes you a Christian whether you call yourself that or not Romans 10:9.

Jesus is the Son of God. Mark 1:23-24 says And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit. And he cried out saying let us alone thou Jesus of Nazareth, I know who thou art, The Holy One of God. The devil called Jesus The Holy One of God. Satan knows who Jesus is, he just doesn't want you to know who Jesus is. Satan knows the old Testatament, he knew it well enough to tempt Jesus, Matthew 4:6-7 say If thou be the Son of God... And Jesus answered and said, it is written again, thou shall not tempt the Lord thy God. No one does right all the time, everyone has failed to some degree or another to live up to God's standard or their own, yet God has provided a way around this through Jesus. There really is no way to logically prove the Bible is true - it is an act of faith.

Not without changing the definition of Christianity you can't. That's what a Christian is, a follower of Jesus Christ. That's where the word Christ -anity comes from, it's not just another ism like Buddhism oor mohomedism, but an acceptance of Jesus Christ as your savior and Lord. Incidentally there were three Israelites named Jesus, only one Jesus Christ and that wasn't His last name either, Joshua means Jesus in Hebrew, Christ mean's the anointed one.

Nobody has that right, God will judge the world when Jesus Christ comes back, we are told not to judge people, but situations
. Luke 37 "Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
1 Corinthians 63 Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life!
Jesus tells us not to judge, but Paul tells us to judge. Since nobody is qualified to judge another person, it is only if we judge according to the word of God that it is right so we don't judge God judge's. I don't know about most Christians, but I don't necessarily think that ppeopple.of other religions willl burn in hell.
