The man of sin will come from Babylon. I did not yet have it proven that it is the land of Iraq. I came across in Jeremiah 50-51 that all the words were spoken to one place - this place, on the Euphrates River.

I have man of sin coming from Syria. You have the Antichrist from Iraq going to the east and to the south which probably is a reference to Dan 7:9. The Antichrist attacks nations to the east and south of his nation and also invades Israel the &#8216;Beautiful Land.&#8217; If you would, look at a map of the Middle East. The nation to the east is Iran; it was not in the Babylonian Empire, Assyrian Empire or the Roman Empire. The nation to the south is Saudi Arabia; it was not in any of the previous empires except for the northern section of Saudi Arabia that was in the Babylonian Empire.

Prophecy requires the 10 horns come from within the Roman Empire of which Saudi Arabia and Iran do not qualify. Three of the 10 horns subdued by the Antichrist must come from the fourth empire, the Roman Empire. Saudi Arabia and Iran cannot be two of these three nations.

The Antichrist coming from Syria (king of the north) will invade Egypt to the south and Iraq and Kuwait to the east and Israel. With the conquest of these nations the Antichrist will have given rebirth to the Assyrian Empire, one of the five kingdoms that had fallen before John&#8217;s day, was not a kingdom then, and will come as the eighth kingdom.

I knew the horses (some) end up in Shinar, but it would be many years later that I would understand the ephah was set back right in Shinar where it had come from (Zec 5:5-11). It is a shattered part of Shinar's former empire, and this helped to convince me the Babylon of the end days is Iraq.

No part of the former Babylonian empire was &#8216;shattered&#8217; by the Persian Empire; they entered the city unopposed without destroying any part of the city. The city was standing when Zechariah was told the two women like birds were taking the ephah to the country of Babylonian to build another house for it. Ancient Babylon still existed at the time a second Babylon had to be built much later.

I thought you saw Gog as not coming till the time of just before the 1000 years. Israel has to return from being scattered by the sword, dwell safely (all of them) without walls, and gain goods and cattle. Gog later gathers his company to take those goods away.

Gog attacks Israel twice, at the end of the great tribulation and again after a thousand years. Israel dwelling safely without walls is on the horizon prior to the great tribulation.

What makes you see America as Babylon the Great of the last days?

Zech. 6 shows it will be in the latter days of the Greek kingdom/mountains of brass.
There will be the north country and the south country parts of the former kingdom of brass. Daniel 2 third kingdom/made of brass

Zech 6 is God's spirit going out to all the whole world. Another error in the KJB, they did not have brass back then, the NIV has bronze.

yes they did. From before the flood, mankind understood metallurgy.
Bronze and brass are copper alloys, and from the beginning, man has understood the processes.
