Hi,

My boyfriend and I are both Christians, but we come from two different cultures. I'm American. He's from Cameroon, Africa.

He's been in the States for a little over four years. He's adapted a lot of American culture. In turn, I'm learning more about his culture, and his previous and current views on things important to a relationship and our future together.

Who else is in a inter-cultural relationship?

Hello =),
Yes, I am in an intercultural and interracial relationship.
My boyfriend is Indian, but was raised in New Jersey, but he was born in India and his parents are Indian. MY mother is from AFrica, Nigeria, and my FAther is Puerto Rican, but I was raised in African culture. I'm pretty excited to see how we blend the cultures as we head on the road to growing in Christ and preparing for marriage. But it is rather interesting to say the least lol.

Wow! You have got to share the story of how you met at some point :) That sounds very cool.

No, but... is it wrong to want to be in a relationship with someone from a different culture? It's just me but I find other Americans boring :sorry:
That's cause you're in INDIANA!!

(My ex was from Indiana, so you have my deepest sympathies :D)

Nothing wrong with the Hoosier state.

I also wanted to ask "what defines a different culture?"

I'm guessing my wife and I don't count because we are both from the US. However she's from a completly different part of the union then I am. I've been raised nearly all my life in Indiana and she spent most of her life in the Southeastern part of the country. . . North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida, and there are some minor cultural differences.
