Not hanging out with anybody but usually I have been the oldest one.
Age doesn’t matter to me but I think I always get along better with younger people I feel like they are more relaxed and goofy, than older people.
I have grown apart from all my friends I had before. I see this as a positive thing though, even it would be nice to find my new best friend. All things have perfect place and time
My best friend is my age. Have been friends since middle school.
My cousin & brother are 'best friends' too & they are my age.
My coworkers in their 40s.
My neighbors in their 40s.
Fellowship at church primarily w/ my age.
Are you more likely to hang out with folks in their twenties or forties? Basically, are you one of the younger ones in your crowd or one of the older ones?
Nah...to answer your question: my friends are mostly in my cohort (mid to late 30s). There are a few "outliers" who are in their mid to late 20s. Hanging out with anyone younger than 26 (my age + 7 years) seems weird.

The people I "hang out" with tend to be younger, as young people tend to be more fun and I love them. I have one friend who is around my age.
I like studying the Bible with older folks, however. They are also better at making good food and partying than younger folks. So both groups have their strong points.
I am more likely to hang out with anyone I 'vibe well with' regardless of age. However, most of my friends are my age or either a little older or slightly younger (1-3 years). That is the late twenties to mid-thirties. The persons I occasionally hang with, who are well beyond my age, are usually my mentors.
