I believe that God did. I also believe in the triune nature of God - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I believe that all three 'personages' of the triune Godhead had equal part in the creation.

God the Father was not busy with other things, or asleep while creation took place. He was involved, just as God the Son was involved, and God the Holy Spirit was involved in creation. The three 'personages' work in harmony as the Trinity.

Without the Spirit there is no creation.
Without the Son there is no creation.
Without the Father there is no creation.

Without the Spirit, there is no Trinity.
Without the Son there is no Trinity.
Without the Father there is no Trinity.

When Genesis 1:1 tells us that in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth (or universe), the word used for God is Elohim, which is the plural form of El and generally means the strong one, the sovereign one, the eternal one (although God is often substituted for "one"). All three personages of "the trinity" would probably qualify as being strong, sovereign and eternal.

Although the Bible clearly teaches that there is one—and only one—God, he has primarily revealed himself as bearing three relationships to man: what Christians generally refer to as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, or simply as the “trinity” (though that term does not appear in the Bible). Could God appear in some other form or reveal himself in some other manner? Of course: God can do whatever he chooses to do; he is not limited except as he chooses to limit himself. The Bible also records instances, for example, when God appeared as whirlwinds, a burning bush, a cloud of glory, and a still small voice. But the primary revelations have been as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The verses that have helped me the most are Deuteronomy 6:4 and Exodus 3:14-15.

Deuteronomy 6:4: Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.

This verse, which constitutes the beginning of the Jewish Shema or confession of faith made up of Deut 6:4-9 and 11:13-21 and Num 15:37-41, emphasizes that there is one—and only one—God. It denies both polytheism (there are many gods) and dualism (there are good and evil principles of equal power contending for mastery in the universe).

Exodus 3: 13-15: Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to th Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name? Then what shall I tell them?”

14God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”

15God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, The LORD, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, the name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation.”

I think that the name God gives himself in verse 14 gives us an especially valuable and important window of insight regarding several things about God: First, God is. He exists. Always has; always will. We can make all sorts of theories that argue that God is dead or that he doesn’t exist—but all our arguments does not change the simple fact that there is a God.

Second, God is. God is yesterday; God is today; God is forever. It’s the eternal present tense. God is not affected by the dimensions that limit us. The dimensions (width, height, depth, time, etc.) are physical properties of the universe in which we live. God created that universe and is not limited by the constraints that limit us. Before time was, God is.

Third, God is both unchanging and eternal. What God promised to the patriarchs hundreds of years earlier would be fulfilled through Moses.

And fourth, the phrase “I AM WHO I AM” can also be translated “I AM THAT I AM, I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE, or I AM WHO I CHOOSE TO BE. Again, God is without limits. He can be who he chooses to be, and he can appear in any form he chooses. As I mentioned earlier, God has primarily revealed himself as bearing three relationships to man: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

However he chooses to reveal himself to us, he is still the same God--the strong, sovereign, eternal and everlasting God without limits (except as he chooses to limit himself) whom we serve. The amazing thing is not that he is powerful enough to create this universe, but rather that he loves us enough to make a way for us to have everlasting fellowship with him.....

Lets start here:
(talking about Jesus)
COL 1:16 For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.
COL 1:17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

The Jesus part of the trinity was the part of the trinity that performed the creation.

Maybe if you won't listen to me you'll listen to the Bible you claim to profess. The Trinity is One. When someone says "Jesus did this" they mean the entire thing, they're just referring to one way in which God has expressed himself.

Jeeze.

Pro 3:19-20 The LORD by wisdom founded the earth, By understanding He established the heavens. By His knowledge the deeps were broken up And the skies drip with dew.

It is the belief of some, that perhaps wisdom, knowledge, and understanding are allegorical reference to the Trinity. Knowledge = Father; Understanding = Spirit; Wisdom = Christ; these are merely speculative, but thought-provoking

Pro 4:4-7 Then he taught me and said to me, "Let your heart hold fast my words; Keep my commandments and live; Acquire wisdom! Acquire understanding! Do not forget nor turn away from the words of my mouth. "Do not forsake her, and she will guard you; Love her, and she will watch over you. "The beginning of wisdom is: Acquire wisdom; And with all your acquiring, get understanding.

Pro 14:6
A scoffer seeks wisdom and finds none, But knowledge is easy to one who has understanding.

The trilogy repeats itself again and again in Proverbs.

Heb 1:1-4 God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent name than they.

Joh 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

It appears that the triune facets of God are One on the same and are not easily divisible.

Gen 1:2 The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters.

Gen 1:26 Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."

Gen 1:27 God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them

May I suggest that Christ existed in the form of a man BEFORE Adam?

I can't agree with anything more than this, I stand firm that this is the TRUTH and nothing can dispute it.

 If we get away from all of the tradition and just read what God has revealed to us in the bible we will learn a lot! There are three separate and distinct people who are all called "Lord" in the bible. In both Genesis 1:26-27 and also in chaper 18 all three members of the godhead are present at the same place and the same time. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Heaven is a planet and there are three separate people called "lord" in the Bible? (Actually there's a fourth, too, at least: Abraham. ;))

Hmm. *scritch* some seriously wonky theology here. See what solo Scriptura does to people?
