  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Konnie got the right answer, here's the verses; she was also known as Dorcas

(Act 9:36) Now in Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (which translated in Greek is called Dorcas); this woman was abounding with deeds of kindness and charity which she continually did.
(Act 9:37) And it happened at that time that she fell sick and died; and when they had washed her body, they laid it in an upper room.
(Act 9:38) Since Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, having heard that Peter was there, sent two men to him, imploring him, "Do not delay in coming to us."
(Act 9:39) So Peter arose and went with them. When he arrived, they brought him into the upper room; and all the widows stood beside him, weeping and showing all the tunics and garments that Dorcas used to make while she was with them.
(Act 9:40) But Peter sent them all out and knelt down and prayed, and turning to the body, he said, "Tabitha, arise." And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

well.....:) you said it was close, and so that made me think, well what other experiences did David have with giants? and since the giant was killed by someone to protect his king, that told me it was one of David's mighty men and...well that's how I got it. :)

I'm at the church doing some computer work now and a little distracted so I don't have one at the moment...if someone else has a Who Am I, go ahead! :)

Is it Tobiah the Ammonite? from Nehemiah 4?

Neh 4:3
Now Tobiah the Ammonite was near him and he said, "Even what they are building--if a fox should jump on it, he would break their stone wall down!"
Neh 4:4-5 Hear, O our God, how we are despised! Return their reproach on their own heads and give them up for plunder in a land of captivity. (5) Do not forgive their iniquity and let not their sin be blotted out before You, for they have demoralized the builders.

I suppose more specifically the answer is Tobiah, Sanballat, and the other persons listed in the verse below.......................? is it right, Wakeup2God? [I like your screenname, by the way]

Neh 4:7
Now when Sanballat, Tobiah, the Arabs, the Ammonites and the Ashdodites heard that the repair of the walls of Jerusalem went on, and that the breaches began to be closed, they were very angry.

OK here goes: :)

Who am I?

I was told by the Lord to go and watch clay being formed into vessels.
I was known for my tears.
The Lord gave me a lot to say, which I wrote down.
The Lord made a point of telling me, that He had known me and had a job for me, from before the time I was born.

Who am I?
