Whittington Center

Hi Everyone. Well, I'm ashamed to admit I have lived in New Mexico the majority of my life and I have never, ever been to the NRA Whittington Center. Some say it is the best range in the entire country. I'm finally headed that way in about a week. My son and I are going together and meeting my best friend and his son for a weekend of shooting. Anybody ever been there? I'm looking forward to it. Plan on shooting some long range, short range, medium range, and point blank range.

There's nothing better than enjoying a hobby with your children. I remember my youngest son and I loading up 180 rounds of 30-30 and then going out that afternoon and shooting every one of them off.

He liked working the lever on my Model 94. We still grin about that fond memory 25 years later. Enjoy every minute of your time out!
