I was a BIG fan when they were popular in the early 90s...bigtime! I don't know what happened to me, but I kinda forgot I had them. I brought my travel case with 224 cds in it to work this evening...and guess what I found!

I put in their Tales of Wonder album. I FORGOT how they rocked!

They were pretty decent. I thought the last couple albums (Redemption & Inside) were a little too dark for my taste.

Rick (Riq, Ric, Rikk, Rikcq...) was fun to watch in concert.

I thought, as of recent years, Petra has had a revolving door (still have many fond memories of 1988 - 1993 - Bob, John, John, Ronnie, & Louie). As for Whiteheart, with the exception of Gersh & Smiley (and Rick - after 1986) you never knew who to expect for the other three slots).

As for Tales of Wonder, I work in a customer service position and am quite often reminded of "The Raging of the Moon".

Got into them WAY back with "Vital Signs" and "Hotline"! Didn't care much for some of their albums between those and "Freedom", however. I think they really tapped their potential as musicians with Freedom.
