take a look at the confederate constitution, the black codes, the dred scott decision, jim crowe, the burning of black wallstreet. these weren't done by a small group of people. this is a whole society doing these things or at the very least in support of these things. none of these events take place if it's just a few wackos with the vast majority of american society totally against it.

are you familiar with logic? if so, then you must honor logical rules. you simply cannot label an entire ethnicity with racism. It's not honest. I have been trying to help you out here. Racism may be in america, and I am sure it is. But there are equally reverse racists out there as well. What if I said that blacks don't like me because I am white and not black. not some blacks but every black in the world. And I said they were reverse racist toward white folk. how would you respond. It's impossible to see what is in everyone's heart. many times neighborhoods, and poverty levels are more to do with prejudice than simply color. For example many police are probably defensive in certain precincts, than other precincts, not because of color, but because poverty has been a proven indication of crime. Even the bible says, "give me not poverty, lest I be tempted to steal". So really to prove this vast crime, is very difficult, you would have to interview every person in the world that was white or black, and put them on a lie detector, and ask them if they were racist, and many would honestly not believe so. Because people tend to think others are, but they are not. But in reality having bitterness against any color is wrong. Only God can see the heart. But I don't justify what police are doing, and shooting innocent people, those will get due process of law, usually by a jury. So they will get whats coming to them, don't let media affect your view of racism. for one I don't listen to the news, haven't for years. well, that would at least be consistent(though grossly unjust).

Since it was an accident, I don't see a point in the officer doing extended hard time. Unfortunately this was a disastrous mistake on the young cop who apparently got spooked. I feel bad for everyone involved, especially the victim and her family - but there were no criminals or evildoers involved here.
