hee hee hee!......... A great way to journal.

Scripture = fallowing a daily schedule on study/reading God's word.

Observation = taking it in/looking for those things that stick out & speak to you.

Application = based on your observation applying it to your life.

Prayer = pray and meditate on what you learn/ ask for guidance.

SCRIPTURE: Matthew chapter three
OBSERVATION: 1) John was fullfilling his purpose to prepare people's thinking and hearts for the Savior. 2) God was pacient and kind to us by giving us warnings and instruction. 3) we were warned that bapitizm in itself meant nothing without walking the walk, baring fruit.... and 4) that the Holy Spirit would guide us.
Application: 1) listening to our Bibles/God's word and the Holy Spirit should be preparation for being reunited with Christ. 2) i should be baring fruit.
Prayer: that i may listen to the voice crying out and directing me, and that fruit will be there to learn, grow, produce and be reproduced in many ways that glorify God and fulfill His will.

SCRIPTURE: Matthew chapter four
OBSERVATION: 1) Jesus was taken into the wilderness and fasted for forty days and forty nights. 2) Jesus was tempted with things that would have been super appealling. 3) Jesus did not take being ministered to, even though the scriptures said it was His right, until after satan departed, so He refused comfort until after his tial had passed. 4) that Jesus and the deciples healled in many miraculous ways.
Application: 1) that i will go through trials and will be tempted with worldly satisfaction. 2) fasting is a big part of spiritual growth. 3) that God will place miracles before us.
Prayer: Lord, please help me to understand the great things that you have placed before us. help me to know that these great mystries and miracles are all around us, because you have not changed. please give me knowledge to listen to your will. thank you for your great designs with your words and examples to guide and teach us. amen
