The ressurrection body will be spiritual. Or physical bodies are just a vessel for our immortal souls, thus spiritual bodies to be able to live and exist in the physical universe. When we die the spiritual leaves the physical when then passes on into the spiritual world where both heaven and hell exist.
Interesting...The bible does not say that.

Lol.......

Na......the natural death owing to the natural decay (law of thermodynamics) will be disrupted and an extinction protocol be enforced by God.

If you want opinion, then lean on men......but if you want to know the mystery......then place your eschatological views on scripture.......

Matthew 24:29 “Immediately after the distress of those

days “ ‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not

give its light; the stars will fall from the sky,

and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’

What causes those events is God, because he says so....

If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened."

It is evident that God will trigger an extinction level protocol event, that will effect our entire solar system, that will cause our planetary heavenly bodies to be dislodged from their habitable zones (alignments).

If this happened to earth by the triggering of that event, then the whole world will know it, that it is the end, because within several years the surface of the earth, including its atmosphere will become inhabitable and life support on the surface will be rendered close to the edge of what humanity could survive.

In this respect God shortens those days, by not only triggering this event, but by also bringing it to an end, by Christ's brilliant coming, that will annihilate the continuum of space and time and those elect who behold Christ's brilliant coming will be barely hanging to life. These elect will be vaporised atomically and without the pain of death, will be translated in a twinkling of an eye from the annihilated realm to the timeless multidimensional nexus of God, that is angelic, requiring heavenly bodies to experience the conscious state of being. As Jesus said, in the resurrection you will be the same as angels.

The prophecies that highlight the earth reeling to and fro like a drunkard and the earthly kings, captains and the rulers of the world hiding themselves under the cavernous rocks of the Deep Underground Military Bases (DUMB), will say.....

to the rocks above them, fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?”

This is the Extinction Level Event triggered by God and scripture in Isaiah also has the remnant elect taken by The Angelic hosts to a safe zone on earth and are told......

Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. (Isaiah 26:20)

19People will flee to caves in the rocks and to holes in the

ground from the fearful presence of the Lord and the

splendor of his majesty, when he rises to shake the earth.

20In that day people will throw away to the moles and

bats their idols of silver and idols of gold, which they made

to worship.

21They will flee to caverns in the rocks and to the

overhanging crags from the fearful presence of the Lord

and the splendor of his majesty, when he rises to shake

the earth.

In another place in scripture it says.....

People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. (Luke 21:26)

Again we see a solar system event that will be triggered, where by the earth will be dislodged from its habitable zone and will continually quake and judder.

Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them on the day of the wrath of the LORD. In the fire of his jealousy, all the earth shall be consumed; for a full and sudden end he will make of all the inhabitants of the earth. (Zephaniah 1:18)

For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain. (Isaiah 26:21)

Just as the gathering of vultures shows there is a carcass nearby, so these signs indicate that the end is near. (Matthew 24:28)

These events point to the days of slaughter, the great day of supper that God has prepared to make a quick riddance of man and beast, in this extinction level protocol event.

At that time those slain by the LORD will be everywhere--from one end of the earth to the other. They will not be mourned or gathered up or buried, but will be like dung lying on the ground. (Jeremiah 25:33)

And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung. (Zephaniah 1:17)

So what does man do, for God to trigger the extinction level protocol event is the question that begs and this will reveal how near we are.

In reply to the question that The OP has asked, this is the unequivocal answer in plain....

The man of sin who operated behind closed doors during Paul's time, within the Roman society of his time, will be revealed unopposed and he will lead many to serve the lie, that ultimately changes the image of the invisible God to an image procured by man. This is an infringement on God's created rights Image, that he created humanity in his own Image.

When God created mankind, he made them in the likeness of God. 2He created them male and female and blessed them. And he named them “Mankind” when they were created. (Genesis 15:1-2)

Jesus also reiterated the above as follows.....

4“Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’5and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? 6So they are no longer two, but one flesh. (Matthew 19:4-5)

So going back to Paul, what is the mystery of inequity that was already at work during his time, within the Roman society of his day?

Homosexuality.

Homosexuality practised behind closed doors was an infringement on God's Created Rights and this act was according to Paul the lie that replaced the truth, as far as what constitutes a lawful union in God's eyes.

During Noah's time, strange flesh were being mingled with and nothing was sacred anymore, man became so deprived that animals were not safe from sexual grotesque acts.

God brought an end to that plague that swept across humanity by the flood. The grotesque homosexual acts will be brought to an end by fire from heaven.

So let us decipher what Paul is saying below.....

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Man of Sin is not in the singular, because the Greek Word is Anthropos, meaning people/mankind of sin. Which is a neuter, meaning it applies to both males and females.

So in Paul's time, within the Roman society homosexuality was rife, but it operated as a mystery of inequity, meaning secretly behind closed doors.

So, what do we have in the times we are living in from 2011 and onwards?

The plague of homosexuality being accepted, embraced and protected by law globally and this infringement on God's Created Rights Image warrants the triggering of the extinction level protocol event!

The Temple of God is the body, which after Pentecost is constructed by His Holy Spirit. Once this body is used for another purpose, then this would be the time, where the people of sin, stand in the temple of God and to commit these high crimes against God's Created Rights Image.

The OP instead of asking the question below.....

Which year do you think Jesus Christ will return?

He should be asking what year do you think God will clobber humanity to death?

In my opinion, I believe the declaration of what God will do with humanity was put in motion in 2011. So how this will domino to earth, is the question of time, that is how long?

Look around you.....do you see birth pains happening and things out of the ordinary?

Well, if you said yes, I also agree with you.

The time we have is only on borrowed time and I speculate it could be years not longer than a decade.

Please note, that I am not saying when the brilliant coming of Christ will be, but just alluding to the observable data, the revealing in our times of the people of sin and the prophecies leading up to the birth pains that will only get worse and will not get out of cycle, in order to support those who say they are cyclic events, for they will get worse and worse, until something big happens, that will be the rude awakening for all of humanity.

The extinction level protocol event has been in play from 2011 and God's hammer is coming.

In my faith, I anticipate the coming of the Father, with vengeance upon those who have foresaken his Son's covenant. There is going to be a blood bath and we ought to prepare ourselves to die for the Lord and be the ones to side with the Father, because he is not taking any prisoners, rather will be clobbering anyone who happens to stand in his way and when He comes fire mixed with blood will be the outcome and no mercy shall be shown to reprobates.

Does scripture say who is coming?

4From Judah will come the cornerstone, from him the tent peg,

from him the battle bow, from him every ruler.

5Together they will be like warriors in battle

trampling their enemy into the mud of the streets.

They will fight because the Lord is with them,

and they will put the enemy horsemen to shame. (Zechariah 10)

It is the Battle Bow, who is the Father who is coming to pour out his vengeance. The trinity, when the Son is sent, then the Holy Spirit, then finally the Father comes to clean up and burn away those who defile his Holy Image.

The ressurrection body will be spiritual. Or physical bodies are just a vessel for our immortal souls, thus spiritual bodies to be able to live and exist in the physical universe. When we die the spiritual leaves the physical when then passes on into the spiritual world where both heaven and hell exist.

You misunderstand what St. Paul means when he says "spiritual body". The Apostle writes (1 Corinthians 15:44),

σπείρεται σῶμα ψυχικόν ἐγείρεται σῶμα πνευματικόν ἔστιν σῶμα ψυχικόν καὶ ἔστιν σῶμα πνευματικόν

[it]-is-sown [a] body soulish [it]-is-roused [a] body spiritual there-is [a] body soulish and there-is [a] body spiritual.

The Apostle is not contrasting physicality with non-physicality; the words he uses here are psuchekos (of or relating to soul) and pneumatikos (of or relating to spirit). The body as it is now is described not as physical, but as "soulish", while in the resurrection the body is "spiritual"; because the Apostle isn't talking about materiality. The Apostle is not talking about what the body is comprised of, but instead what moves or animates the body.

The Apostle uses these same words elsewhere, writing,

"The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. Those who are spiritual discern all things, and they are themselves subject to no one else’s scrutiny." (1 Corinthians 2:14-15)

The Apostle isn't saying that physical persons cannot comprehend the things of God's Spirit, and only non-physical persons can. Instead he is saying that without the Holy Spirit we cannot understand the things of the Spirit, because they are comprehended by the Spirit.

And that's critical here, as the Apostle also writes in Romans 8:11, "If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also through his Spirit that dwells in you."

This is the difference between the present soulish body and the future spiritual body; it is the Spirit who gives life, restoring us to life, and indeed glorifying us in the body at Christ's glorious return.

The difference is that the body is transformed, from mortal to immortal, from corruptible to incorruptible.

We are not ghosts inhabiting a shell, that's heresy. We are human beings comprised of body, mind, soul, will, emotion, etc. These bodies are not temporal houses for some ethereal interior agent called "the soul", we are our bodies, because in the beginning God took dust from the earth, formed it, and breathed into it and Adam became a living soul. This created world matters to God, it is God's good creation, these bodies of flesh matter because they are how we were intended to live.

If all that matters is the "ghost" then the Incarnation is meaningless, Jesus Christ's death and resurrection is meaningless. Read through 1 Corinthians 15, see what the Apostle is saying because it is so absolutely and vitally important, saying, "For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised. If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins. Then those also who have died in Christ have perished. If for this life only we have hoped in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied."

"We believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.

We believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; He descended into hell. The third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into the heavens and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From thence He will come to judge the living and the dead.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
" - The Apostles' Creed

The original Latin is even more emphatic, reading carnis resurrectionem, "resurrection of the flesh".

What you are proposing here is dangerous heresy, it is a popular misconception among many Christians today who have been sadly improperly taught the basic teachings of our religion; but it is nevertheless a serious and dangerous heresy that undermines the most central doctrines of Christianity: that the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and that this Incarnate Logos, Jesus Christ our Lord, the eternally and only-begotten Son of the Father suffered death for the sins of the world and on the third day rose again, bodily, ascended, is seated at the right hand of the Father, and will come again in glory as judge of the quick and the dead, and that there is resurrection and eternal life in the Age to Come.

Interesting...The bible does not say that.
You are correct. Some of the gnostics did though. (Certainly no reason to recommend it.)

Welcome to CF btw. :) If you need any help finding your way around or have questions about the forums, let us know!

The OP asks the wrong question: the right question is: "How with the Bible prophecy movement within evangelicalism survive when Christ has not returned within the next 50 plus years? Standard evangelical prophetic interpretation believes that the 2nd Coming must occur within a generation (= 40 years) of the Jewish takeover of Jerusalem in 1967 (Luke 21:24). It is now 2018, considerably more than a generation after this takeover. And the revival of the Jewish state in 1948 is widely considered to be a sign of the endtimes. In 50 years, how will evangelicals still take comfort in the fulfillment of this sign of Jesus' imminent return?

They may correct their eschatological views after reading my posts. It is not about the coming of Christ to reign on earth, but rather the coming of the Father to end it all, before Christ's brilliant coming to ushur in the timeless multidimensional nexus of God (the new realm), that is not dictated by time, space, cycles of day and seasons.

We are waiting on the Father to come in judgement of the world as the Battlebow and to prepare the way for the ushering in of the wedding Supper of his only begotten Son, in his heavenly house of many dimensions/rooms.

God alone knows! We can only know that it's soon and that every day is one day closer.

Personally, I think while there have always been scoffers and evildoers, our generation - especially in the west - is somewhat unique in history in that it's "post-Christian". That is to say, at one point we accepted God's Word, but now it's become unfashionable, diluted or entirely rejected. I think 2 Peter 3 in a sense is truer today than ever before.
