I prefered the Charleton Heston version.

The one they showed on tv the other day was the WORST GARBAGE I'd ever seen in my entire life.

That's 4 hours that I'll never have back.

The worst garbage? Please explain. The 50's version is sooo grounded in the film style of it's era that I find it unwatchable in any other vein but "it's a classic".

I just found the acting and "special effects" to be so embarassing.

The photography was awful, they had these really basic stock clips of tidal waves, fish, waterfalls...

And right before the sea parted... what was up with them showing the volcanic eruption under the ocean? It was as if they were trying to say that the sea parted as a result of there being a volcano erupting under water.

I think they should've given the movie another title, because the "Ten Commandments" didn't make a debut until the last 5 minutes of the movie.

Okay, maybe "worst garbage" wasn't an appropriate phrase to use towards a movie on this subject, but given today's technology and budget, I think that we should be capable of surpassing the imagery of a movie that was done 40 years ago.

The Prince o.Egypt. I have the dvd and soundtrack. I get into it,its getting a message out but doing it animated. Very cool film,love the song by Wynonna Judd in it..Freedom!
