  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I don't edit my photos... :p Any resizing/cropping I do, I do in MS Pain.... I mean Paint... ;)

works for me

Same here on the editing. I don't do any adjusting to the photos themselves other then resizing. And The GIMP is my tool of choice. :)

I'm a big fan of Photoshop CS...

I've played around with the GIMP, but with PS, I'm just so used to the interface, it's seemingly impossible for me to switch. But besides, in PS I normally don't do anything more than stamp, resizing, contrast, brightness, and occasionally a blur. Nothing intense.

I try hard not to use them. If the shot is bad, I need to go back and retake it. If I'm not sure that what I'm shooting is going to turn up properly, I take many shot variations. I only print using quality paper done at a lab using slides so I have no reason to edit. But when push comes to shove and I must do an edit for any good reason, I use PSP or Gimp. I have a Photoshop class next year so I may wind up switching to that at that point. But I've been using PSP for many years to do web graphics, it's a great editor.
