Went with the raping toddlers. The toddlers are fairly innocent all around. The genocide I can get around because what if I wanted to commit genocide on all toddler rapers...I'd feel pretty justified.

Presuming you know what God would want based on your personal interpretation of religious texts. It's worse, of course, if you then do something awful because you assume it's God's will. If, for example, it were God's will to end homosexuality, He would strike down the homosexuals. Since that hasn't happened, it's presumptuous to assume that's what you should do in His name.

You can always selectively pick disasters and apply them to the group of your choice, like Falwell is so oft wan to do. Earthquakes in Cali? The gay. 9/11? All those Feminist Muslims.

Hmm... I don't think he ever commented on the day lightning struck, causing Oral Roberts University to catch fire. That's odd.

I don´t agree. Neither is it a necessary prerequisite for doing these things, nor does it necessarily lead to doing things we consider "evil".

Actually, that's not really my point. It can lead to things you call 'evil', but it's more obscure than that. There's an intentional irony hidden in my selection.

I could also argue that genocide can lead to something good, even though it's the clear winner for "wrong". Without Hitler, we probably wouldn't have anything approaching the civil rights we do today.

So if you mock the Holy Spirit aspect of God, you can never be forgiven? But you can rape toddlers and be forgiven? That's pretty harsh by comparison.

True, and I was near to saying that genocide is common in nature. Male apes sometimes kill the infants of a rival male when they take over the female. That's direct genocide (and infanticide).

quite a few social animals do similar things, from queen bees and ants to lions... the offspring of the former Alpha breeder are done away with ASAP to maintain the current dominant's genetic legacy.

Also, ever notice how in news items where someone does something unspeakable to an infant, it is quite often a step father? Stats say Step parents account for 67% of violence towards infants, which would rather indicate than humans have an urge to cleanse their section off the gene pool too.

And of course, the opposite side of the coin is that rape is all about passing on DNA to as many potential partners as possible

I would say we live in two different realms, really, so in my opinion there would be two different 'most evil' things.

As for the physical realm, I'd say that genocide would probably be the most evil thing.

The other realm we live in, should you choose to believe it, would be the spiritual realm. If indeed a deity were to exist, that would mean that denying it would be the most evil thing to do in the spiritual plane of existance.
