  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

At least you prove to be a poor Umpire!!;) Sex is not all about procreation. Monogamous does not only mean husband/wife. Homosexuals are just as capable of monogamy and child rearing as any hetero. When did Jesus, Paul, Peter, Jude, Timothy, John or anyone else in the NT say that a monogamous gay couple aren't adequate or suitable? When did they ever condemn a monogamous gay couple in any capacity?

Shall I count your strikes Nip?

Homosexual cannot be completely monogamous and have children too. When/where did Jesus or the others ever pat a homosexual on the back for being homosexual? Everyone back then knew such behavior was totally wrong. It was a given.

Pharisees did see Gentiles as dogs for good reason yet their sins were not as obvious until they sent Jesus to the cross. So while it good to stand against sexual immorality (this eventually cost John the Baptist his head) we also don't want to become self-righteous like the Pharisees either. I believe if you truly follow Christ then you find neither one these crowds (the self-righteous or those who promote sexual immorality) will like you very much.
So while Jesus didn't go around patting sinners on the back he was accused of eating with sinners by the self-righteous crowd.
