  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I feel like college is so much easier to get through. You don't have to get up every morning at the same time and you certainly aren't in class all day long like in high school. And I go to a women's college so I love not having to worry about boys all the time and being able to focus!

I doubt anyone will say high school, unless they are having a horrible time at college.

I feel inclined to respond to this. I am having an amazing time here, but I voted for high school due. The stress level is much higher, and it being less structured, I find myself wasting more time.

high school was so much better. I have class almost everyday from 8am -2 pm and sometimes longer with even more homework and i have to take care of myself. I have to live with a roomate and I'm not very close to home. Even though lunch is longer for me everyone has a different schedule which is nice and it's not soo structured. But I miss high school and how relaxed compared to college it was.

You seem familiar. If you don't mind me asking, where do you go to school? I go to Jacksonville State University. Just a wondering! Congratulations on the wedding!

This is a hard decision. I had a lot of fun in high school, but I'm having a lot of fun in college too. I did have more friends in high school, but I found the love of my life here at college. The friends I made in high school will stay with me for the rest of my life. I can't really say that for most of the people I've met here at college. The classes are better in college. In high school, I was in the band in high school and I loved every minute of it. Unfortunately, I'm too busy in college to join band. I feel like a part of me is gone since I don't play in the band anymore. So it's kinda hard decision for me.

college. i have more money, i'm considered more of an adult by people, and i don't have to be at school for as long.

How did you manage MORE money? lol, I don't know about you but I'm pretty poor. But anyways college is infinitly better than high school. I just have sooooo many freedoms.

College is three times better than HS. It wasn't till I came to college that I met such a diversity of people. In HS, the majority of the population( 95%) was Black-American, 4% Caucasian, and 1% exchange student.
wow, that is so different from where I am
my high school is 98% white/caucasion, 1%exchange student, and 1% african american!

I personally liked high school better because I don't do well with the unstructuredness of college. I need my whole day to be planned out for me beforehand, and I need to be made to follow that schedule. If I have an unstructured day, I end up just going online all day long and I end up depressed and anxious as a result. I have basically no self-control.
