The only country that I have been in where racism is truly institutionalized and it is viewed as neither rude nor wrong to be racist is Asia.

People have no problem portraying certain folks as inferior or no problem in simply coming to conclusions like, "Korean made products are better for my body... Because I am Korean and this is our great Korean land" sort of fallacious mentality.

Though groups play the race card in the states it is never as blatant.

Do you think this is racism or merely extreme nationalism?

Which group tends to be more racist?

Whites?
Blacks?
Asians?
Muslims?

Humans.

Seriously, the question itself smacks of racism.

My experience is similar. In Asia a half Thai, half Japanese child is easily frowned upon as a mixed blood mutt. In Europe Germans and French regard each other as the same race. In Asia this is much less common. But this is speaking from my experience, which does not include Africa or the Middle East

And no the question is not racist in the proper sense of the word. Racism, in the proper sense, means the belief that one race and its members are inherently superior to another. People often confuse racial prejudice to be racism. For example, if I said "Asians are bad drivers" or "black guys are athletic" that is not racism but prejudice. Though racism does necessitate prejudice, racial prejudice does not necessitate racism. It takes an educated and discerning eye to discriminate between the two. The two are most often confused by ignorant members of the PC crowd, which is why I consider Political Correctness to make people stupider.

Why is "Muslims" on there? They are not a race but a religion.

Probably cos blacks are Western society's boogie monster (though to some extent they are being replace by the 21st Century boogie monster of Islam) and so since we were first aware of the world around us as toddlers, different elements in society have been imprinting this message that blacks are bad upon our mind. There is no rationality behind it, but most of us still subconsciously listen to it.

And we dare to call our societies civilised?
